Sorry to see the decline of the very few Echinacea that I managed to grow this year. I look forward hopefully seeing them flourish next year!

Fade Into You

I want to hold the hand inside you

I want to take the breath that's true

I look to you, and I see nothing

I look to you to see the truth

You live your life, you go in shadows

You'll come apart, and you'll go black

Some kind of night into your darkness

Colors your eyes with what's not there

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

A stranger's light comes on slowly

A stranger's heart without a home

You put your hands into your head

And then smiles cover your heart

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

Fading into the mists

True love is like little roses, sneery, fragrant in small doses ....

Faded and forgotten tulip

“Now the darkness only stays at night time In the morning it will fade away Daylight is good at arriving at the right time No it’s not always going to be this grey.”

Delhi, Isa Khan Tomb

Isa Khan's tomb was built during his lifetime (ca 1547-48 AD). It is situated near the site of the Mughal Emperor Humayun's Tomb complex in Delhi which was built later (between 1562-1571 AD). This octagonal tomb has distinct ornamentation in the form of canopies, glazed tiles and lattice screens, and a deep veranda surrounding it, which is supported by pillars. An inscription on a red sandstone slab indicates that the tomb is that of Masnad Ali Isa Khan, son of Umar Khan, the Chief chamberlain. Isa Khan’s garden tomb is considered the earliest example of an Indian sunken garden attached to a tomb. [Wikipedia]

Silence make the real conversations between friends. Not the saying but the never needing to say is what counts.....

Wishing everyone a great week ahead :)

Westmoreland County PA

A grey slab of sky greeted me this morning, so another misty shot from a few weeks back. I was very fortunate that morning as it wasn't too long before the mist lifted and there was nothing to see at all! Always get to your spot before sunrise is my motto :)

Marshlands near Hamburg(Germany)

A faded rose shot in macro from the bottom.

More texture work. Taken last spring, I've just rediscovered this directory and found a few unprocessed photos. Because life can sometimes be a bit dirty and faded.

View On Black

Thank you once again to NinianLif for the texture.

Curious Eastern Bluebird taking on a more neutral coloration as it prepares for its migration to the warmer south.

Common migrant and Summer resident that leaves in October. A small number sometimes overwinter in the area.

The sand may brush off

The salt may wash clean

The tans may fade

But the memories will last forever!

Happy September 1st!! :))

A forgotten Lockheed PV-2 at Gila memorial airpark, just south of Phoenix AZ. You can find several PV2s an DC4s on this abandoned airpark, including the burned down terminal building. It was used to be the base of 60 aircraft back in the 1980s. Nowadays it is just a great place for photography!

Please take a look at my photostream for more photographs from this amazing place.

So many of these old elevators can't handle the new truck & trailers that are now hauling wheat.

You were the shadow to my light

Did you feel us?

Another star, you fade away

Afraid our aim is out of sight

Wanna see us alight

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Was it all in my fantasy?

Where are you now?

Were you only imaginary?

Where are you now?

Atlantis

Under the sea, under the sea

Where are you now?

Another dream

The monster's running wild inside of me

I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

These shallow waters never met what I needed

I'm letting go, a deeper dive

Eternal silence of the sea

I'm breathing, alive

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Under the bright but faded lights

You set my heart on fire

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Where are you now?

Atlantis

Under the sea, under the sea

Where are you now?

Another dream

The monster's running wild inside of me

I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded

I'm faded

So lost, I'm faded
