The rain came in the day after I shot this, so now we are just waiting for the winter and the snow.
This is a candid of me complete with balaclava and anti-glare wraparounds on the Kilpatrick Hills not too far from home.
So if you see me about - say hello :-)
Footnote:
We were on the hills for about 4 hours and it was around -5c not counting the wind chill, so the balaclavas, thermals etc were really necessary. The frozen tracks you can see in the snow were made earlier by a passing herd of cows. This area is pretty isolated and we didn't see anyone else around the whole time we were there. Talk about Lonely Planet LOL.

Meanwhile December has arrived but the weather shows the typical face of November. Today there was no sunshine, it was cold and uncomfortable. So I decided to go out to enjoy the moment. Obernbeck, Löhne, Ostwestfalen, Germany
Taken 12 minutes after the last posted image, all the vibrant colors were long gone.

The Walkabouts - "Horizon Fade"
From a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California on a foggy day.
Heading South towards San Francisco.
An old and abandoned dairy auction barn....not really all that interesting. But then you do a little research and discover that it was once someone’s dream to turn the land into an agricultural theme park! Sadly, the plans fell through and the dream probably turned into a nightmare. Twenty years later, the old buildings sit, dilapidated and falling into ruin. Just a faded memory.
