Deventer boasts many historical landmarks such as the Proosdij, the oldest brick-built residence in the Netherlands (twelfth century!). There are monumental buildings all around you, with stunning facades, historical churches and ancient squares. Proud to be the main attraction is the Lebuinis church, which is visible from far and wide. In other words, a town with a wealth of history, but is it old-fashioned? Far from it. Deventer is vibrant, frivolous and bustling: a contemporary-monumental town.
Deventer is on two banks of the Ijssel. From the Ijssel quayside in the old centre, there is a view of the other side. It shows a green oasis: the Worpplantsoen. Walk or cycle there, via one of the two bridges connecting Deventer. Or use the foot ferry called Stokvis, which is a nickname for people from Deventer originating in Hanseatic times. From the other side, you are afforded a panoramic view across the town, with the Lebuinis church as stunning eyecatcher.
Would you like to take a rest from all the sights and sounds of Deventer? Recharge your battery at one of the many pubs and restaurants in this Hanseatic city. There is plenty of choice: there are more than a hundred, including trendy coffee places, authentic lunchrooms, grand cafes, restaurants, a food hall and a town brewery.
The cranes in the old docks now stand idle, but once formed the beating heart of the port of Ghent. Thanks to light specialist Fisheye, they revive during the 4 days of the Light Festival.

This modern Bentley was slightly out of place among all the classic cars at Schwetzingen but it was an eyecatcher for obvious reasons. :)
Sam is our regular guest dog and a real eye catcher.
He is al very sweet boy and has great manners.

Mein Lieblingsort auf der Sonderhorst in Oestrich am Abend gegen 18:15.
Der rote „Eyecatcher“ stand schon da. Wurde von Umweltfrevlern dort ausgesetzt. Werde ihn aber nicht auf die Bank in Grürmannsheide stellen. Hab ihn dahin mitgenommen wo er hingehört.
My favourite place at the Sonderhorst in Iserlohn-Oestrich, about 6:15 pm. The red „eyecatcher“ was already there. Left behind by polluter. I took care of him, putting him where he belongs.
I love owls and one of the things that always fascinate me are the eyes. The handsome guy in this photo is Bruce, a Northern white-faced owl and one of the birds at a local falconry. In the comments I add another owl photo which shows Tweety, a Eurasian eagle owl.

To sit at the beach and look at the blue / turquoise water is relaxing for heart and soul.
Unique are the houses climbing into the mountains. It seems to be a m u s t to go there on your trip to Amalfi.

Hier kann man am Strand sitzen und Seele und Herz entspannen beim Blick auf das blau / türkise Wasser.
Einmalig der Anblick der Häuser, die sich an den Bergen auftürmen.
Ein Besucher der Amalfiküste sollte unbedingt in Positano Halt machen.
De InterRegio tussen Basel en Bellinzona is toch wel uiterst fraai te noemen. In de goud-rode kleurstelling is Stadler RABe526 205 een eyecatcher van formaat als ze langs de Zugersee richting Gotthard voorbij glijdt. Immensee 20-08-2021

I spent a few days in the Dolomites with a friend!
Even if the weather was just terrible we had a great tour and took some interesting photos...much better than with a blue sky :-)
Here at the Giau Pass the first snow was fallen - it was windy and icy cold - but with warm clothes no problem.
I have stitched seven 18mm portrait format shots for this panorama photo...and because my buddy walked through the picture, I immortalized him twice :-) not a mistake but a feature :-)
Ich habe mit einem Freund ein paar Tage in den Dolomiten verbracht!
Auch wenn das Wetter einfach nur schrecklich war, hatten wir eine tolle Tour und haben einige interessante Fotos gemacht...viel besser als bei blauem Himmel :-)
Hier am Giau Pass fiel der erste Schnee - es war windig und eisig kalt - aber mit warmer Kleidung kein Problem.
Ich habe sieben 18mm Hochformat Aufnahmen für dieses Panoramafoto zusammengesetzt...und weil mein Kumpel mir durch das Bild gelaufen ist, habe ich ihn gleich zweimal verewigt :-) kein Fehler sondern ein Feature :-)

Hey folks. So it took me some days to sort myself due family related stuff and something not really nice stuff over the last days but working on this outfit and picture due this time was really raising up my head a bit.
Honestly I am so happy to be part of the team from my dark queen Imperia Abbadon-Sulfur (Sköll) and in love with her creations that you might have to deal with them in every single post. Sorry not sorry but I am obsessed with those! This tattoo isn´t just an eyecatcher for your chest, it is topped with a wonderful back down your neck and spine which you can enjoy on my blog as well.
On the other hand there was this awesome pose-set from Swain Craven (Animosity) with those damn nice snakes I had to grab as soon as I could and daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn queen I am LOVING them all! His poses always drag me into other worlds and let my fantasy float.
Last but not least.. I grabbed this wonderful and pretty tattoo from Eva Artemesia (ThisIsWrong) to finish the look and point out the long legs I have indeed :P Her eyes for details over your skin is just outstanding!
