The Green Jay is a beautiful stunning Jay, and now is one of my favorite birds. He reminds me of Groucho Marx, with those comical eyebrows. He's very entertaining in his ways, and stands out with beautiful colors. The Blue crown, and black face, emerald back, yellow green belly, yellow outer tail feathers, he is quit the eyecatcher.

Zwischen Tag und Nacht ist es für einen kurzen Moment märchenhaft schön durch die mittelalterlichen Gassen von Rothenburg ob der Tauber zu schlendern.
For a brief moment between day and night, it is fabulously beautiful to stroll through the medieval alleys of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Geißklee-Bläuling am Abend. Nur durch die offene Blende konnte ich diese Eyecatcher-Situation herstellen. Alle anderen Fotos mit geschlossener Blende kamen in den Mülleimer.
Butterfly in the evening. Only with the aperture open was I able to create this eye-catching situation. All other photos with a closed aperture went into the bin.

Caught in a whirl of glass and steel, the tornado twists upward and ends in a roof that takes on the form of a floating, flying cloud. Generated by the dynamic twists of the two supporting strata, this tornado functions as the main bearing for the roof.
The construction of BMW Welt required 4,000 tons of steel. About a quarter of this was built into the Double Cone alone. At a height of 28 metres and 48 metres in circumference, it presents a wasp waist of 14 metres at its very centre. Every one of the steel sections was manufactured with its own, special template, and each one had to be within two millimetres of the design specifications. There are monumental buildings all around you, with stunning facades, historical churches and ancient squares. Deventer is on two banks of the Ijssel. From the Ijssel quayside in the old centre, there is a view of the other side. It shows a green oasis: the Worpplantsoen. Walk or cycle there, via one of the two bridges connecting Deventer. Or use the foot ferry called Stokvis, which is a nickname for people from Deventer originating in Hanseatic times. From the other side, you are afforded a panoramic view across the town, with the Lebuinis church as stunning eyecatcher.
