5 Ex Australian BHP Billiton SD70ACe's trail dead in tow on NS W75, bound for its eventual destination of Mayfield, KY. BHP traded out these tired, noisy, non isolated cabbed SD70ACes for new ones to work in the mines down under. These old units are headed for Progress Rail to be rebuilt and perhaps used on another railroad, such as MRL in Montana.

One of our famous 'V' Bombers, the Victor had a crescent shaped wing and along with the Valiants and Vulcans they ruled our skies during the early years of the Cold War.
Later mark Victors were converted to Aerial Tankers when their nuclear bomber role was transferred to the Navy.

I immediately saw Frankenstein's monster in that ripped sticker. Only the left eye added , otherwise the shape is as it were.
Recently purchased from DB and renumbered and repainted in to GB livery is 66782. Seen in heavy snow at Wandel Mill, 66782 is working 6M51, 0620 Millerhill - Carlisle Yard departmental working that goes via the Shotts line. Seen running to time when it passed here at 0858 on the 13th February 2018.
This loco was previously 66046.

I made a trip to Chicago in January of 1989, during that trip we also went north to Green Bay as well as various other spots. One railroad on our list was the Wisconsin Central. We saw some SD45s in the Chicago area in fresh paint but when we went north while we saw some WC painted units we also saw units from Soo Line that had been transferred to the WC but had yet to be painted in WC colors. Seen here are two ex-Soo GP30s in Black Creek, WI

CN's 7500-series GP38-2s (originally in the CN 5536-5559 group) had been converted to serve as hump mother units to work with slug units in the CN 500-526 series. However a number of them have been released into the general pool and here CN 7512 leads CN 9449 and CN 4719 as they cross over from the South Track to the North Track of the Halton Sub.

An unexpected spot on this Rail Replacement 'rally' was this Wright Streetdeck, originally new to Arriva in Kent for evaluation purposes.
As it has the Hallmark Connections legals, it would appear it is permanently allocated to the Heathrow base so begs the question of what it will be used on.
