Ex GLOBAL RESOLVE 2024 is a cold weather combat readiness exercise in Alaska.
Over 350 Canadian Army soldiers are putting their cold weather combat skills to the test with partners from the RCAF, the 11th Airborne Division from the United States, and soldiers from the Republic of Korea and Mongolia from February 13 to 22, 2024. In total, over 600 Canadian Armed Forces members will participate in or support the exercise, with the majority coming from the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.
The exercise will comprise 8,000 soldiers who will engage in offensive and defensive operations in a complex environment. Ex GLOBAL RESOLVE is an annual training event held on an alternating basis between the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center in Alaska and the Joint Readiness Training Center in Louisiana aimed at preparing the Canadian Army's Global Response Task Force (GRTF).

Plus de 350 membres de l’Armée canadienne mettent à l’épreuve leurs compétences de combat par temps froid avec des partenaires de l’ARC, de la 11th Airborne Division des États-Unis et des militaires de la République de Corée et de la Mongolie, du 13 au 22 février 2024. Au total, plus de 600 membres des Forces armées canadiennes participeront à l’exercice ou l’appuieront, la majorité d’entre eux provenant du 3e Bataillon, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.
L’exercice comprendra 8 000 militaires qui participeront à des opérations offensives et défensives dans un environnement complexe. This one got a darker tone, moody, pulsating neons, leaking atmospheric lights the way I think cyberpunk should be. But not just that. It was hard to compensate the ugly yellow
tinting with shaders that modify the overall tone with both real metal golden-esque intended by Eidos Montreal's DX and a blue-over-black energy from Ion Storm's DX.
Some places were almost unplayable with all effects turned on due to the blinding white, so I assigned a toggle on/off hotkey for bloom/magic bloom settings and another for ambient lights to tune down the light expansion. For all the effects working 100% at the time, it should be necessary to edit the level lights (and AFAIK it's impossible right now) or painstakingly micromanage for test and error the pixel range for every effect from this preset every corner of the game.

Gunners from 129 Battery, 4th Artillery Regiment (General Support) RCA participate on Exercise MOJAVE GAMBLER at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California between 30 October to 22 November, 2023. The training is centred on building a cadre of operators that are technical experts by maximizing day and night flying time on the CU-172 Blackjack, Small Uncrewed Aerial System (SUAS). This challenging training will enhance the battery’s operational readiness in support of domestic, operational, and training missions.

Les artilleurs de la 129e Batterie, 4e Régiment d’artillerie (soutien général), ARC participent a l’exercise MOJAVE GAMBLER au centre de combat aérien du corp des Marines a Twentynine Palms, en Californie, du 30 octobre au 22 novembre 2023. La formation est centré sur la constitution d’un cadre d’opérateurs qui sont expert techniques en maximisant le temps de vol de jour et de nuit sur le CU-172 Blackjack, petit système aérien sans équipage (SUAS). Cet entraînement améliorera la préparation opérationnelle de la Batterie à l’appui des missions nationales, opérationnelles et de la formation.
