Driving down the road, I just couldn't resist stopping and taking this photo. I don't think I have ever seen more prefect lighting.
This little peeper, a Sanderling, I believe, landed about 40 feet away from me on an old jetty. The fading light reflecting off the lake in the background made for a lovely shot.
On the 7th October 2016 no.764.469 and no. 764.211 (O&K no.3980 of 1910) are loaded with fire wood in the shed yard at Viseu de Sus, Romania.

Strobist: Alien Bee 800 through a 1.5m Photek Softlighter from camera right. Using a variable ND filter to control light and maintain DOF.
A series of blue hour lake shots I knocked off during a recent holiday in Melton Mowbray (so many pies, so little time left for photography :)....).
A little touch here and there but it was a nice shot of a worthy foal, early evening at sunset. Good reward for sitting in the paddock amidst millions of hungry flies.
