Etching on Zinc. 35x25 cm.
I took the subject of this print from a photograph saved from flickr some time ago. Unfortunately, I did not save the author's name, along with the image, and could not find it, even by exploring photographs of dry sunflowers on both the flickr and google search engines. I hope the owner of the original image has no problem with an intaglio reproduction of it; I would consider it a d'apres and homage. I find the photo really beautiful. I would like to be able to give credits to the original subject. If anyone knows of it, please come forward.

An open edition copper plate etching.
The workshop has begun to run low on some resources and so this colour mix didn't have as much white as I would have liked. It's certainly bold!

The etching press is a wonderful manual machine with a metal roller which moves slowly as the huge wheel is pulled round.
This time a drypoint plate with chine-colle detail is being printed on 250 gsm Fabriano.
Etching on copper. Copper plate and quick test print.
Just to get an idea of the end result and to spend a couple of hours having fun. I think I'm going to make it a little bigger.
new boutique i saw at the mall. this boutique specializes in etching images onto crystals. makes a great gift. prices range from USD20 (for a pendant) and upwards depending on size
Heres a big beast i've just completed finished as 47636 in large logo blue, using the heljan duff as the base model then adding extreme etchings headcode boxs, high intensity lights, finer brass bits replacing the chunky heljan parts aswell as completely re-spraying her and adding loads of detail i.e pipes, eth gear, screw link couplings & mini ploughs to both ends.
Shes tastefully weathered in typical scottish condition and i'm well happy with the finished result shame shes not mine thou:(
This is the first try at home for etching - lots of PPI and fumes. :)
On 250gsm Somerset using oil-based relief printing inks.
This is an etching I did in my print making workshop. This is actually printed on cotton not paper but I really like how it's turned out. I coloured it with watered down red acrylic paint which also worked pretty well. If I ever learn to quilt I think this would make a lovely patch.
I was thinking about possibly doing a swap; one of these hand painted, printed squares of fabric for a couple of squares of lovely patterned fabric. Just let me know if you're interested. :)

One of them is a stained glass from one of the museum trams, but the rest are etchings with dust all over them from 377.
