Back on the bike, perfect day for a ride. Took the singlespeed out for a short spin to get a cappuccino, and came up with this shot.

Here's to many more miles,

cheers!

Just one of those days, some will be easy some will be a challenge. Hand held (both the cam and latte) at the local Bucks...and enjoyed both. ;)

Early morning, before sunrise, last day on the beach. A quite time for reflections in more ways then one. One can argue that 3 hours is not that far from the ocean, but for me its a world away. I love mountains, deserts, rivers and forests, but the ocean is where where I long to be.

Painting with early morning light.

Afternoon moment of silence as the rains came down.

My first try at uploading a short clip to Flickr, not easy staying in the 90sec rule.

Left yesterday to the coast for a couple days of surfing, and decided to give my camera's video a try. I used two cameras, the 5DMKII and the T1i.

Re posted after additional trimming to get it to fit.

Long road ahead, may it be full of contrast. We set aperture as needed and capture millions of moments, which make up a picture.

What time do you have?

Here, its always Espresso Time.

Hiking the Billy Goat Trail with my girls on a sunny winter day... Priceless :)

Back in the day, one would get dressed to play.

Now they had style, we pay top dollar for rackets that imitate the feel of a wooden racket, I am taking this treasure of racket out to play, well when the rain stops.

Catching the wide view with the fish eye, before the wedding. While shooting I couldn't help enjoy the musical bliss in this fantastic space.

Winter solstice, also known as midwinter occurs exactly when the Earth's axial tilt is farthest away from the sun. This will happen tonight, with a Full Moon, and Full Lunar Eclipse. Just in case, walk don't run down the stairs.

For this shot i was atop a parking garage where an alert police man drove up to me to inquire about what I was doing, it must of seemed odd on the surveillance cams, Man dressed in black wearing earphones, setting up a tripod up on the roof. We talked and once I assured him I had no intention of terrorism he drove down, keeping a watchful eye on me and my vehicle plates. I must commend him for approaching and engaging me, just as he should.

Happy season to all, and remember from tomorrow add a minute of sunlight each day...unless the Mayan calendar is off by a bit.

Street shooting in Georgetown, it was worth the wait on the street corner. Sometimes it just clicks.

Mountain Biking season start

Tonight I wanted to try something different, Simple, minimal, and elegant. An outline that translates to feeling, I hope the minimal light is enough to get the love of wine across. Press L on this one for sure. :)

Cheers!

The simple life, dinner time and the wonderful endless sound of the surf.

Headed down to DC tonight to see the mall at night. The golden Freedom Wall, and reflecting pool, stand in a somber quite. The wall has 4,048 gold stars, each representing 100 Americans who died in the 2nd WW War.

Spent the day in Harpers Ferry WV, which is a cool historic town in Jefferson County, West Virginia. I don't know if the girl was looking at her reflection in the window or trying to look in the dark room, but the light was fantastic.

While doing my taxes this afternoon, this stink bug yelled out natural diptych time.

Taxes done, day over. Next.

Walking back from the Hirshhorn Museum, This little "Bugeye" smiled at me.

A British classic, on the streets of DC... 3 quick hand held snaps for later tonemapping, and I smiled back at this little gem. I hope I did it justice.

This week it will be Passover, the festival of Freedom. In this shot is the Haggadah (book) which means a telling: a narrative. The Passover Haggadah is the narrative that is read aloud at the Passover Seder. It is the story of the slavery of the people of Israel in Egypt and then their flight from it.

Happy Passover
