Self portrait just seconds before the camera fell off the hand rail. I was going to give it another try but after the camera fell, I kinda lost interest. (Camera is fine) I found myself drawn to this image, so here it is for day 285.

Great afternoon at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in DC. This is the open storage at the Luce Foundation Center for American Art inside the museum. Hand held bracketed 3 shots for this HDR image, I raised the ISO to get a faster shutter speed to keep it steady.

Its Friday night, raining and the music is perfect. I passed my exit, and kept on driving.

Enjoy your weekend. :)

When these three are together... Oh, the stories they tell.

Cool night, clouds are clearing up we drove down to DC, and walked around the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Its a powerful memorial, when looking at the names on the wall one can see their own reflection with the engraved names of the fallen men and women making it a personal reminder that we are their reflection just as well.

As the seasons change, so does the light.

Some symbiotic relationships are obligate, meaning that both symbionts entirely depend on each other for survival. Thats why Singlespeed bikes should all have a bottle opener.

All you need is one. :)

Another day in the Kitchen, cooking with visiting family, their jet lag rubbed off on me for FDT (Face Down Tuesday)

Happy FDT you all :) Cheers!

"I honor the place in you where Spirit lives

I honor the place in you which is

of Love, of Truth, of Light, of Peace,

when you are in that place in you,

and I am in that place in me,

then we are One."

Heading out from Catoctin Mountain National Park we hiked up to Cunningham Falls. It was mid day when we got there, so while the kids where having lunch I slipped off into the shadows to capture this shot from one of the upper pools.

Camera on tripod, Cokin filters (2) bracketed 3 shots for this HDR of the falls.
