Returning home, crossing the bay bridge in a storm. once passed the bridge you are land locked or eastern shore bound, depends which way you head lights are pointed. This drive, I couldn't help but look in the rear view mirror.
Walking down Bethesda Row in search of espresso, a shot that is pulled from the heart, a shot that wont end up in a paper cup. Looking for a place where you hear the tamper cling on the rim, the milk frothing and the machine release its gift of golden brown fluid as the aroma of perfection fills the room... well that didn't happen, and so the search goes on.

Shot: lacking any external flash, I opted for the natural light. I placed a white bed sheet, and lay down on the floor looking up at the cam, over exposed the shot a bit, burned the face and arms in aperture, added curves, transferred to B&W.
Ghosts Dancing in the wind in preparation for Halloween. While driving i noticed this Ghost gathering, made a mental photo note, and came back in the afternoon with my daughter and shot these mystical ghosts dancing. I retouched the poles they were sitting on...shhhh don't tell.
Late night, tired and needing a shot, I lay my kilt on the bathroom floor, and had Tal pose for some shots, while i composed and focused, then i wiggled under the tripod to do this self portrait.
A study of motion, watching my dog keep his pace well into his 12th year of life is inspiring, such a fantastic breed and amazing friend. I know he won't be here with us for long, but each day is a wonder, and so grateful for this amazing friendship.

Driving at night, light passes by and time sure does fly. This shot is from a more cinematic perspective, noisy and dark.
While looking for a fresh new slope we came across this great snow man, suddenly the sisters were quite, as they gazed up at the great guardian of the slopes.
Another snow day here, and back from work early so I can be a kid again, sledding laughing and having a great time with my amazing daughters.

Ending the day on the banks of the Potomac river, is a fantastic way to say farewell to light and welcome night.

Little Stony Man hike, with my 7yo, she did great on another great hike. We sat for a bit at the peak of the Little Stony Man Trail watching the guys set up the climbing gear in the cold wind. The view was perfect, as was the company.
Walking along the frozen lake, these were the only 2 people other then me.
