On Sunday 18th February 2018, the Epping Ongar Railway held a bus event themed around 'Everything Has Doors'. There were 5 routes, the 175 North Weald - Passingford Bridge, 381A North Weald - Passingford Bridge, 500 North Weald - Passingford Bridge, 718 North Weald - Harlow and High Beach Tour North Weald - High Beach. There were 12 buses in service, T1, SM1, MBA539, GLS490, RF401, RF180, RMA48, RCL2260, V3, RP21 and T1128. FRM1, MBA582 and M1014 were on static display. Here, V3 arrives at North Weald, prior to working a route 175 trip to Passingford Bridge.
Eeyore turned 50 this year, and the annual Spring celebration took place again at Pease Park in Austin, Texas. April 27, 2013.
Super day at the EOR and without the volunteers there would be no railway. Thank you guys and girls!!!!

Les dessins et gravures de l'expédition sont en grande partie conservés au museum du Havre où elle a fait l'objet d'une exposition en 2021 dans le cadre de la manifestation "Australie - Le Havre. L'intimité d'un lien (1801 - 2021)"

Le projet inédit sans titre (territoire originel) s’intéresse au transport colonial, au commerce et à l’acclimatation de plantes, animaux et objets d’origine australienne, ainsi qu’à la colonisation des connaissances Aborigènes qui leur sont associées.
Son point de départ est l’expédition française du Capitaine Nicolas Baudin en territoire austral en 1800- 1803, ......commanditée par Napoléon Bonaparte,
L’exposition prend différentes formes pour déployer cette histoire complexe, l’artiste imaginant ses œuvres comme un processus de traduction. Parmi les plantes rapportées par l’expédition et conservées à l’Herbier National (Paris), plus de 300 spécimens furent collectées à Sydney. Ces spécimens ont été reproduits en broderies réalisées à la main par des collectifs de réfugiées et de migrantes à Sydney, et sont présentés comme une nouvelle traduction de ces archives. Des sculptures, d’après des couronnes impériales mais faites de matériaux australiens et de portraits d’Aborigènes, sont présentées sur les murs..... Extrait du site de l'exposition

Epping - Ongar Railway, Easter Monday 1st April 2013. The Railway's operation is complemented by a feeder bus service between Epping and North Weald, with some journeys extended to and from Ongar. The service uses RT-type buses from the 1940s and 1950s operated by London Bus Company, and tickets for unlimited travel on both the Railway and the bus services are issued at EOR stations and on the buses.
RTs 3228 (left) and 3238, both painted in the Green Line livery of the London Transport Country Bus Department, are seen at North Weald between runs. Note the period Country Bus stop and concrete post in the foreground. 339 was the traditional number for the Country Bus service between Epping, Ongar and North Weald (the full route ran from Harlow to Warley, just south of Brentwood).
Preserved English Electric Type 3 diesel locomotive D6729 (Class 37, 37029) at Ongar Station on the heritage Epping Ongar Railway (EOR) in Essex (UK).
D6729 was built by English Electric at The Vulcan Foundry Newton le Willows in 1961 and withdrawn from traffic as 37029 on December 31st 2007.
Speaking from experience I can tell you that the entry door into the cab on these type 3's is very tight..
