This is taken at the Florida Railroad Museum. They had a polar express train ride for x-mas and an actual train took them to the "north pole".

Members of the 382nd Engineer Company conduct a bridge reconnaissance where they identify bridge span types and collect specific bridge information for clearance and use during the 2014 Sapper Stakes that pit engineer unit teams against each other as they vie to win the inaugural competition.

Worth a look are the glass etchings near the main entrance to Newcastle Civic Centre. John Hutton from New Zealand did etching for the Civic Centre, also did a lot of work on Coventry Cathedral, at the Civic Centre his etchings include; Swans lightbulb, Parsons Turbine, Stephensons Rocket, unfortunately the Armstrong window was damaged and has yet to be replaced. The 178th Engineer Battalion, South Carolina National Guard, recognized U.S. Army Sgt. Malik Cobb, 178th Eng. Bn., SCNG during an induction ceremony that recognized newly promoted non-commissioned officers (NCO) July 18, 2025 at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, South Carolina. The ceremony inducted 15 Soldiers who were recognized by senior NCOs, before the inductees signed a copy of the Creed of the Non-Commissioned Officer, and recited the creed along with other NCOs in attendance.
