I got some WM swag from my visit ... a nifty little trash can that I believe is intended as a pencil holder. Holden paired it with his trash truck (already existing in the "garage") for a full day of fantasy play, landfill-style.
At the north end of the Animas Valley, up near Purgatory ( sorry, Durango Mountain Resort ) Ski Area, Engineer Mtn (12970ft) commands the northern horizon. From the name of the Ski Resort, you might expect this to be "Durango Mtn" rather than one of two "Engineer"s but the name comes from the supposed resemblance to the steam-era railroad engineer's hat. The ski resort is out-of-frame left, while US-550 runs in front of the gray cliffside on it's way up to 10500ft Coal Bank Pass.

Mark, other lovely member of the engineering team who joined us on this tour. A 27 year vetran of Qantas, I recall him telling us that he started out on the Douglas DC-4.
The huge grey bit held in place by the yellow staps, is an extra fuel tank. To give the size note the engineer/loadmasters station at the front by the steps.
Engineer Jeff James is watching the progress of the switch at Univertical Corporation in Angola, Indiana, on the Indiana Northeastern Railroad. Well, that's what his story was. I claimed he was just admiring himself in the mirror outside the cab. Ha!

So James and I went to see The Book of Mormon last Sunday. When it comes to his job, he really does need to "just turn it off!"
The Engineers.
I heard them giggling. It piqued me quite a bit in this wood. The Irish have leprechaun. We the Malays have the orang bunian.
That's when I heard the knocking. I knew right the way who they were. The Malim girls with the hammer.
You may ask you who The Malim Girls With The Hammer. They are girls who build bridges. Other girls may play masak-masak (cooking and pretending to be homemakers).
Not these two. Three actually. The other one is not in the picture. She is out looking for planks and picking up durian.
A boy may smash things with a hammer. But girls, they build things. Like a bridge.

Part 3 of Grace's 'This is Me' collection.
Grace is a 10 year old girl who loves to dress up.
There is a little known fact that this girl likes to game. One of her favourite past times is playing Minecraft, an online computer game that allows you to mine materials to build whatever you heart desires. This theme is based on her character who also has an Engineer skin (costume).
