My father, front row second from right, was with the outfit in the Phillipine Island during WWII. They were scheduled to be some of the first to land in Japan if the war had went much longer. They had been on the islands of Lyete, Mindoro, and others I can not remember. This picture and info was sent to me by Jack Swafford of Arizonia a couple of years ago. The Phillips in the middle row was from Iowa and came to see my Dad in the mid '50's. I remember my Dad talking about Griggs, but none of the others. I sure he did but my memory has lost them.
