The Bridgeport, CA cemetery has its own living room! Wouldn't you like to settle your bones here for an eternal view of those mountains? My in-laws are here amongst those distant tombstones. These two benches are part of another family's plot but I don't think they minded that I sat with them for a while. HBM!

As Johnny Cash sang, in one of his early songs, "Aint no grave can hold my body down." Your spirit would forever soar here! Happy Soundtrack Monday too.

This served as the title song for a Johnny Cash album published posthumously in 2010: Aint no grave

One of my favourite ways of photographing almost anything is contre-jour!

This is Christmas Eve alongside the River Avon in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Marysville is an important manufacturing center. Honda of America opened its first plant in Marysville in 1979 and still employs thousands of people at four separate locations.

The centre of Bernal has an artisans market and many other tourist themed shops. Anywhere you walk, the Peña dominates the view.

To climb the rock, climbers must have equipment for at least a medium altitude circuit, including clothing, non-skid shoes or rugged boots.

Villa de Bernal, a Magical Town has beautiful portals, cobblestone streets with an irregular layout, taverns, restaurants, handcrafts, traditional food stands, museums (such as the Mask Museum) and colorful houses.

The lower level of Saint Sava Temple is home to a crypt and the Church of Saint Lazar. Accessed via a small door and a marble staircase from the construction site above it is a jaw dropping room that comes into view. Its walls are adorned with paintings, the ceiling with frescoes and it is gorgeous.

The crypt is a marriage of marble, gold and bronze materials accompanied by colourful paintings and frescos covering the walls. And lights, so many golden pendant lights hanging from the ceiling reflecting a gorgeous ambiance all over the crypt.

The church contains a crypt, the Treasury of Saint Sava, and the grave of Saint Lazar the Hieromartyr.

Lazar was one of the Serbian noblemen who ruled the Serbian empire after the death of Emperor Dušan. After the death of Emperor St. Uroš V (December year 2), Lazar was de facto ruler of Serbia.

Lazar fought against the Turkish powers on several occasions in order to protect his people. Finally, he fought the Turkish Emperor Amurat and lost on the Field of Blackbirds [Kosovo Polje] on June 15, 1389. Afterwards he was beheaded.

Taken for an "Empty Seat " theme, I noticed this little scene on the Circle & District line platform where there is a wide gap between the platforms. Handheld with no flash it was a good test of our new G7X family pocket camera. Just loved this guy seemingly separate from the bustle of London around him.

Rejeted from the group Empty Seats when the peacefulness of the seat among the trees was one of the points of the photo. Flickr Groups are a law unto themselves.

The Basilica of Santa Giustina is the seventh largest in Italy.

There are three main chapels. The presbytery with the choir, and the two chapels for saints Luke and Matthew that form the transepts.
