Nido is run by students allowing them to hone their professional skills.

Oh no, another church, put Ted in front of a church entrance and, in he goes. In fact we searched this one out - Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Merced, one of the oldest churches in BA at Calle Reconquista 207.
The first church built on the site was by the Mercedarian Friars in 1603.
The present building dates back to 1783 and it was declared a basilica by Pope Benedict XV in 1917.
The Iglesia de la Merced was originally designed by Italian architects Giovanni Andrea Bianchi and Giovanni Battista Primoli, who started the construction works around 1721. The current facade is the work of the architect Mario Buschiazzo, who completed the remodelling in 1900.
Many of the artifacts within the church were destroyed during the anti church riots in 1955.
The building is a combination of Baroque and Rococo styles. It is noted for its baroque style grand altar and the frescoes that adorn its walls.
