I can't believe this school year is just about over. In September, I met who turned out to be my best friend. This is his dorm room, now emptied out except for the stuff that belongs to the school. I have another week at my school, I'm done by Thursday night. It's exciting, and I look forward to summer, but I can't help but miss my friend. He left for home today.

The color tone in this picture is example of playing with white balance on the field. I was clicking with warm tone as it was almost a golden hour of the day. However I was not pleased with the color tone of the picture in warm tone.
I thought of try out something different and reduce my temperature to colder tone. And it turned out well as per my choice. I liked the blue tone in the picture. The blue sky, Blue glass of the Freedom tower at WTC and blue reflection of sky color on the still wall is amazing to me.
It was really great experience clicking the freedom tower from this place. It was bit of emotion and excitement for me. I wanted to click the tower after sunset with some lights on in the building. Unfortunately windy condition in cold day didn't allowed me to wait. It was so cold for us that we couldn't wait till sunset. Hoping to visit this place in spring to get night shot.
Hope I made justice to this photo.
The Anaheim Garden Walk, behind the anchor restaurants on the first floor, is even emptier than I remembered it. This used to be the third-floor food court. There's nothing there anymore.
This was a rather strange weather day. An inverted trough parked itself over central Alberta, extending from a developing low in Saskatchewan. This surface trough first brought a few non-severe thunderstorms, which were then followed by several hours of wind-driven heavy wet snow and whiteout conditions.

Under the bed and on my knees I searched, a nose full of dust was all that I found.
I climbed aboard the bus, hoping beyond hope , finding only empty blue seats.
Surely my mind reasoned Starbucks would yield treasure, I found only stares of the vacuous kind.
I ran to the park, nothing was there, I climbed the soup kitchen’s painted stairs, the cupboards were bare.
I called California searching before, wrong number she said, don’t call anymore.
I opened boxes, flipped through photo albums, read letters and poems, my words like tumbleweeds had blown out of town, following you not making a sound.
Inspecting the new moveable shelves installed in the lower level of the Rolex Learning Center, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland.
These 13km of moveable shelves will hold the biggest part of the collections coming from the 10+ campus libraries that are being moved into the new building.
Empty Chairs, the new artistic installation of Terrygold, is a walk among the many empty chairs that Covid has left us. Every empty chair is a story that brings back memories, thoughts and some tears.
This is the weirdest part about Summit Place. It has 4 of its 5 anchors, JCPenny, Macy's, Kohl's, and Sears. It's only missing Mongomery Ward's.
