This is a photograph I took a while ago and kept. By kept, I mean I liked it and didn’t delete it. However, it slipped further and further back on my camera roll. I like this seascape because there’s nothing there. No birds, no boats, no people. Nothing happening. Sea and sky merge. Lovely diffuse light. Nice patterns on the sea. Almost complete silence.

Fountains Abbey (NT), Ripon, North Yorkshire, England.
Fountains Abbey is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. It is run by the National Trust and has been used as a location in the Witcher.
Fossil Rock Desert, 75 kms from Dubai. Went there today for a picnic (near the rocks) with some friends. Absolutely perfect weather and temperature! The winter in Dubai is truly enjoyable.
