66560 awaits the road heading 4M41 London Gateway to Lawley Street with its train of empty flats strung out behind as 66551 approaches with a fully loaded 4L46 on the balancing working to the train on the left.
An empty iron ore train between Middleback Junction and Iron Knob, South Australia, on the 3'6" (1067mm) Whyalla 'tramway' - 22 April 2023. Below rail infrastructure is owned by Simec Mining with trains operated by Aurizon.
Both locos still carry Genesee & Wyoming colours, though somewhat faded on 1304, despite G & W no longer having any connection with the operation.
Lead loco 1304 was originally an EMD G8B export model built for the tramway, rebuilt in 1993 by Morrison Knudsen Australia as a G14M. Trailing unit 2261, also an EMD, was built of the Queensland Railways and rebuilt in 2006, and transferred to Whyalla in 2020.

An empty street in Sant Elm, Majorca. I applied a VSCO Velvia preset in Lightroom to give the colors some punch. I like the result pretty much and for once I think this is a shot that no monochrome conversion could beat.
Some might miss a storytelling element, but I don't. The emptiness to me is one of the key elements in this shot.

Warm/low early evening light catches 211 and 212 shoving empty propane tanks and bad order ore cars toward the yard. A439 is in the distance.

Locomotive 43-0149-1, currently owned and operated by GFR (Grup Feroviar Român), built in 1969, underwent its most recent general overhaul (RG type repair) at the beginning of 2023, seen in commercial service hauling an empty consist of Fals/Falns/Fabls-type wagons to Bărboși Port Halt (Hm).
In the past, the locomotive was in service with JŽ (Jugoslavenske Željeznice – Yugoslav Railways) and later with HŽ (Hrvatske Željeznice – Croatian Railways).

Art Sculpture, from the exhibit Empty Minds.
The exhibit Empty Minds, represented a series of characters, the empty minds, with transparent heads and wheeled feet. They all had empty minds, but some of them might have some idea. If this happened a lightbulb appeared in their empty minds ... but, the law forced them to go to the machine to extract ideas.
So Empty minds do absurd things, but they are not very aware.
This sculpture represents a character with bags full of shoes, which in reality he does not need since he is supposed to move through a wheel.
