Auf der ersten Tour ohne meinen treuen Kumpel, natürlich besuchte ich unsere Lieblingsplätze. Aber es kommt mir alles so leer vor.
On the first tour without my trusty pal, of course I visited our favorite places. But it seems everything so empty.

In (austral) springtime we have postals like this on weekdays, depicting a complete empty beach near El Tabo coastal town, part of the hinterland called "Litoral de Los Poetas" and also next to the city of Valparaíso. For people who wants to stay relaxed in this part of the years, this placed fits perfectly.

En tiempos de Primavera austral tenemos postales como éstas en los días de semana (no así en los fines de semana, ya que la cercanía con Santiago facilita la llegada de muchas personas) y en donde se muestra una playa absolutamente desierta (fui la única persona en mas o menos 3 kilómetros de caminata) cerca de El Tabo, pueblo costero de aproximadamente 18.000 habitantes y que es parte de la zona denominada "Litoral de Los Poetas" y que también está cercana al Puerto de San Antonio. Para las personas que buscan un relajo a estas alturas del año, este lugar es un recomendado.

(46/365) Lidl had Escargots (snails cooked in garlic butter) on offer the other day & Martin loves them. I don't. It seemed a waste to throw the shells away so I've put them in this ceramic bowl on my bathroom windowsill. Playing around with the Fish Eye effect on the new camera (best viewed Large to appreciate the texture in the shells). Happy Snail Saturday HSS!

The Bicester village station was very quiet yesterday so I got this quick shot. It's very handy having the 5 axis image stabilisation on the Sony, this was handheld at 1/60 sec.
Empty spritz and wine glasses from Al Merca, the next-door ciccheteria (tapas bar) near the Rialto market in Venice. A perfect spot to get a little glimpse into the social life in Venice. Excellent local flavour....well worth a visit.
Empty sand train 61T navigates the hand throw crossovers in Lock Haven as the train transitions from Norfolk Southern's Buffalo Line to the Nittany and Bald Eagle (NBER) branch. This train was waybilled from Newberry Yard to Oakdale, Wisconsin.
During summer, the cabins (Iltios-Stöfeli) are rather empty, it's not like it winter where the ski tracks attract thousands of people!

It's not often I capture a 68 on the Chiltern pulling rather than pushing! 68011 hauls its empty stock towards Kidderminster through the empty platforms of Blakedown.

Just returned from a trip to the Empty Quarter in the UAE - fairly crazy adventure - stayed 4 days on my own in the desert - no people around for miles. My tent almost blew away the evening I took this image. Enjoy!

DB Class 60 No.60001 formerly named “Steadfast” ambles along the old LNWR ‘Buxton & High Peak’ branch from Buxton to Ashbourne and onwards to London now the branch from Buxton serves only Dowlow & Hindlow Quarries, The grubby 60 is seen skirting round the bend at Harpur Hill heading for Dowlow with the empty “Ely” set from Peak Forest Up Sdgs formed of mostly HOA wagons. Worth noting the farmer isn’t antisocial but doesn’t appreciate people in the field whilst livestock is present.

Summer cinema in winter. The empty space with a lonely chair (and a plant on it) made a strong impression on me.
At first, I was trying to write something inside the heart. But it was too small and there wasn't enough space, so I gave up >.<
Now, it's just an empty heart...

This was rather difficult with the fish-eye lense. The lights on the ceilinng are far too bright. I got some lense reflections which I could not remove in postprocessing (well, at least I was not satisfied with the result).
