James has climbed the tallest peaks on three continents, trekked the path of Genghis Khan's conquest across Asia into Europe, won triathlon and running events, and gotten everything but his underpants mugged off him. A little rain would never stop him from another adventure.
Strobist:
Two bare Nikon flashes (SB-600 and SB-80DX) at 1/2 power, one on car hood on Gorillapod with blue gel behind subject, and one with 1/2 CTO gel camera right slightly in front of subject on VAL. Both flashes and YN 602-RF triggers were placed in zip-loc baggies.
Decided to play around a bit with a photo of some bluebonnets and liked the results of the three experiments shown above. I'll put the larger versions into the comments below. Hope ya'll enjoy my Friday craziness!

It seems the local weather gods didn't get the memo about it being summer time.
7DOS, Unusual PoV Tuesday, Week #2 - the letter C, for cones or conical roof tops of a Trullo, which is a traditional, rural, stone dwelling found in the Italian province of Puglia (that's the heel of the boot-shaped Italian peninsula. See my Album entitled Italy for examples of Trulli in the town of Alberobello or look up Trullo or Trulli on Wikipedia).

How do I do this??
Minute amounts of water, windfall samples - organic and mineral - are collected from the very landscape depicted within each picture - and chemically bonded with the film over 12 months. The result: a developed film and unedited, printed images that are somewhere between a classic photograph and a totally abstract image, depicting the interaction between fundamental chemical elements present at each place & time, representing a more visceral and literal experience of being present in landscapes in a constant state of natural or unnatural flux.

Nikon D800E Photos of Blue/Green/Gray Eyed Goddess with long, dark black hair and white porcelain skin! Long, long legs--as long as the day! She was immaculate! Classic California--an athletic model goddess in black & gold Gold 45 Revolver bikini with the Moving Dimensions Theory Equation on it: dx4/dt=ic! Tall, thin, fit and very, very pretty! She was reading Shakespeare, Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, and Moby Dick while embodying the classical goddesses and elemental archetypes herself!

Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

This is a kids show (Seireishojotai - which translates as “Elemental Girls”) in Japan about 5 highschool girls who are actually sexy Eco-super heroes that fight polluters and other environmental villains.
i just think its rad that their costumes are so skimpy in a kids show.
I am definitely going Green (or maybe pink - i dig the glasses)!
