This Molten Mech is one of the Elemental Robots. Large beasts that contain the powers of creation, these "creatures" are from another world: A mix of advanced technology and magic, they are extremely powerful. But are they here to save...or DESTROY?
A digital painting. This was fun to make because I used a mixture of photoshop and painter (since I can't really draw to save my life). I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions on this...:)

I swiped the head design from someone and built this Frame. Of course I've made a few changes since this picture was taken. :-( I'm currently working on a squad of these and their Attachments.
Blue water, ice and sky. The Peritio Moreno glacier up close is spectacular. These ice walls are around 60m high and advance at an average of 2m per day, but melt at the same rate.

Thinking with images.
A kind of compulsive comparison of form.

This is a kids show (Seireishojotai - which translates as “Elemental Girls”) in Japan about 5 highschool girls who are actually sexy Eco-super heroes that fight polluters and other environmental villains.
i just think its rad that their costumes are so skimpy in a kids show.
I am definitely going Green (or maybe pink - i dig the glasses)!
Also blogged at the awesome flux.net/elemental-girls. Check it out!

"Holmes no era un hombre de vida desordenada; modesto en su manera de ser, regular en sus costumbres, rara vez se acostaba después de las diez de la noche, al levantarme, había salido ya de casa después de haber tomado su desayuno. El día lo pasaba entre el laboratorio químico y la sala de disección, y algunas veces se daba largos paseos, casi siempre por las afueras de la población. No puede formarse una idea de su actividad cuando estaba en uno de esos períodos de excitación."

Series made using fundamental, natural elements. These natural elements and compounds are collected at the site of the picture - usually at the location depicted within the photograph. The depicted scene you see here is created not just by light on film but by melding samples of elements and organic matter from the scene into the film development process where subject and medium are married together, the resulting image created from the scene itself.
Echoing ancient alchemical methodologies, the process of production of the images and their resulting mystical appearance together reflect the ups and downs of the search undertaken by an artist to understand his and more widely, humankind's own, spiritual nature.
No collating or cutting and pasting of external or internal elements into the picture in Photoshop or similar editor has taken place.

Location #3 - 20 Mile Point: Colne Estuary, Brightlingsea, Essex. Seawater, seaweed, sand.
An attempt at something unusual, hopefully unique. Brock was growing increasingly impatient with all this photography stuff. He really thought we were actually gonna go for a "walk".
The Water Gardens in downtown Fort Worth, Texas is a very cool place and was one of the locations where the 1976 Sci-Fi movie "Logan's Run" was filmed.
It is hard to get a full sense of scale of this place but the orb sort of helps. That orb is a little over 6 feet tall I would guess. :-) While down in the bottom of this "Active Pool", the sound levels were very high and I had to communicate with Cameron as he managed the cameras with, of course, Light signals! ;-) There were a lot of people around during the time we were there and Cameron was approached by a lady who asked us if we were Ghost Hunters! ;-) And I guess, in a way, we are! But only the glowing ones! ;-) I can only imagine what some of the others were thinking as they watched me swing lights around down in this watery pit! ;-) It is almost hard to believe that this is almost a 5 minute exposure shot right in downtown Ft Worth!
