Argon (Ar) is # 18 on the Periodic Table of Elements. At Earth surface conditions, it is an invisible gas. Argon is one of the "noble gases", along with helium, neon, krypton, xenon, and radon - they do not easily form compounds with other elements.
Twenty-six isotopes of argon are known - six occur naturally. Argon-40 is the most common variety. Argon-36, argon-37 (= radioactive), argon-38, argon-39 (= radioactive), and argon-41 (= radioactive) occur in small to trace amounts only.

Selenium (Se) is # 34 on the Periodic Table of Elements. Elemental selenium is a nonmetal that varies in its appearance, from gray to red to black. Native selenium does occur, scarcely, as a mineral.
Thirty-five isotopes of selenium are known - seven occur naturally. About 50% of Se is selenium-80. About 24% is selenium-78. Selenium 74, selenium-76, selenium-77, and selenium-82 occur in minor to small amounts. Selenium-79 is radioactive and occurs in trace amounts only.
