The 13 benefits identified in FreeLife's GoChi™ study are no coincidence. Combined, they have been described as "The GoChi Effect™," as the benefits are all interrelated.
I discovered this effect by accident. Some of my shots with a 12mm ultra wide angle lens came out blurred in this fashion after I had accidentally rotated the camera when pressing the trigger. The effect could be reproduced with a 1/40 s exposure time and by quickly rotating the camera. Interestingly, the center of the image is sharp, but it gets increasingly blurry towards image edges.

The Hawthorne Effect applies to a situation when a manager expresses interest in an employee and observes them. This attention acts as a psychological stimulus for that employee, compelling them to increase their productivity. The manager’s behavior inherently affects the worker’s level of performance.
We caught this picture of the manager of Walgreens doing his annual review on employees. He was examining the way his employees do their daily tasks, and through his monitoring, the employee raised his level of performance. The abilities of the employee seemed to heighten through the manager’s specific attention on him.
I saw a really great use of this Panography effect by Flickr member Brenda Anderson (see link below) so I decided I had to start playing around with it. The default settings didn't do much to impress me so I messed around with them a bit. I like this as an abstract, but I haven't learned enough about it yet, so I'll be playing with it some more.
