Ah the perils of wide-angle photography. Not enough room at the sides to straighten the horizon without ending up with a tighter crop than I would have liked. Still, at least you don't have to twist your head to one side when looking at it...

I have to admit... I didn't know what the Orton effect was... until i googled it...

The most successful aspect of this photograph is the sharp texture of the building. From the bricks, to the smooth glass (which also incorporates reflection), to the overall direction of the photo, it creates a very visually striking photo.
