The annual Retiree Reception was held at 4:00 pm April 25 at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts on Patterson Street. VLREA invited all teachers at the public schools in Valdosta, Lowndes and Echols counties and educators at VSU, GMC and Wiregrass. In recognition of their exemplary roles as educators, Baldwin Wallace recently honored Drs. Barbara (Mueller) Sawrey ’73 and Thea (McAfee) Wilson ’75 as Outstanding Educators and celebrated Dorin Jackson ’10 and Sarah Piscsalko ’13 as Jill Herrick Graduate Education Scholarship recipients. The four individuals were lauded March 25 at the 2018 Celebration of Outstanding Educators.
