Thank you Georgie for sharing your opinion on the topic ;)

This is a still shot from a video I made before edcMOOC began, my first attempt at videoscribe. What edcMOOC looked like to me at the time. Here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j-zuCy2NrY

Basically, I brainstormed some ideas from week 1

No need to comment guys, it is a course Im taking at Coursera and I wanted to make a picture and add it to the group

Drowning in a Digital Niagara Falls: We are inundated by digitalness around us. I think at this moment we are at the peak of overload with the advent of all of the very exciting technological tools we have for communication. Thus, right now we are nearly drowning in it! But I do believe that very same technology will also soon provide us a "lifeboat" to help filter, organize, and makes sense of all that data. Then we can quiet down, reflect and "float" above the mass of information on a highway to new knowledge and understanding. Jan Bull

I've been in "silent mode"... Too many interesting topics, people, comments during these three weeks... It's difficult to stop "listening", to squeeze so many "social activities" within other "human requirements" ... Digital natives, digital inmigrants, double bind, reification, doble-take, ecologies of yearning, personal growth, the human touch, post-humanism, trans-humanism, technology... what do they mean for education we ask? and... What do they mean for parenting?

I'm sorry, this is Kiwi humour. If you're not a New Zealand (or have not lived there) you won’t get it.... NZ is covered in these signboards advertising Tui beer. They highlight the sarcastic way in which people say the opposite of what is understood to be true followed by a highly intonated doubtful sounding ‘yeah right’ – meaning ‘not a chance’. I simply played with the words on this image to Moocafy it.

I'll resist the authorial urge to interpret the image and wait instead to see how viewers may interpret it. #edcmooc

Buddha passed all his life insisting that he was a man rather than a God and his search was almost the same as the focus on the #edcmooc this week: “ what it is that is most valuable, most precious, most essential about ‘being human’?" Here we are also asking ourselves what is to be human in this digital era, specially under threat by technology? The picture also reflects our busy minds and the overwhelming choices nowadays.

Everything is a double edged sword

In a world made of glass, you can create what ever you want. The sun set, a house, a road, trees, colors, shapes... let your imagination flies.

What will 'forums' look like in the future?

LONDON (L.A. Times) -- “It seems like everyone who is anyone has posted a selfie somewhere on the Internet,” Oxford Dictionaries said on its blog, without offering an accompanying selfie of the writer. #edcmoocw3

cMOOC tutors. Richard, I believe this is their Flickr group. Fascinating. #EDCMOOC artifact.

This old cover mashup made in Gimp reflects my feelings about being watched while demonstrating "learning", being part of an experiment about learning and knowing there are learning analytics being harvested.

Hipsters so consumed with their material digital world want to brand their food, including a birthday cake.

I do find it funny that the uploader has to clarify there are not a geek.

I have been thinking that head, hands and heart must be in balance before you really can learn successfully.

#edcmooc MOOCs @ Education Crossroads

This is how I envisioned my inner-world. The background is a distorted image of a gallery (metaphor for order and love of art), bottom left (books and the Rosetta stone) symbolizes knowledge and translation. Bottom right represents spiritual and artistic sense as well as the perception of our own mortality. Top left, symbolizes past innovations for peace and war whereas top right is a metaphor for future through space exploration and biochemistry. All of this is tied in my three most important activities for this course: listening, seeing and communicating (both text and binary are involved here).

I only used original pictures (taken by myself) because I didn't want to worry about copyright (I still don't get all the nuances and layers).

Please, take a minute to consider and vote for my interpretation <3

variation in the mood of Valentine's Day

QWERTY* was the first thing that came to my mind. Because it is through the keyboard that all of us get closer to the answers we are looking for. Spontaneously what comes in mind is Google. it seems that Google has all the responds to our questions. Knowledge is a click away. The way we define ourselves is clear though our digital footprint. What we search clarifies what questions are there demanding answers.

And it was an excellent coincidence that on the 14th February someone (Pantelis) reminds you not only the most common everyday movement that billions of people do but also calls you "highness" buta also that no matter how digital we get, we are stll emotional and in need of human touch, tender words and empathy. Because the first reaction was a most warm welcome of the word "highness" and a smile.

This is what actually makes us different.

The wall was created by @maddiekp in an effort to curate all the #edcMooc digital artefacts in one place. The Padlet platform - also known as WallWisher was chosen to showcase the work of all the participants and celebrate our completion to the course.
