Upando rapidinho no que resta do meu horário de almoço!=)
Esse domingo que passou fui na Brigaderia da Julia (aka Doceria Brigadeiro XD) com minhas amigas que ainda não conheciam lá!X) Claro que acharam super fofo, né?♥
Levei essas duas mocinhas elegantes e a minha Mini-minúscula também!x) As duas ai da foto se arrumaram bastante para irem passear, olha como estão lindas!<3 Especialmente a Bell, queria uma roupa assim no meu tamanho!=`D Adoro essas cores!<3
Pena não poder fotografar as duas bem pertinho uma da outra: o cabelão da HolyBell impede mais aproximações!XD Eu até pensei em comprar uma outra peruca pra ela, nessa mesma cor, só que com um penteado mais simples... assim ela poderia alternar dependendo da foto... o.o Mas a questão é que a Bell adora seus cachos puff, tadinha!XD
Me faz tão bem passar uma tarde cheia de pessoas e coisas fofas assim...faria isso todos os dias!<3

Mniam.... (An éclair is a pastry made with choux pastry (profiterole dough). The dough is piped into an oblong shape with a pastry bag and baked until it is crisp and hollow inside. Once cool, the pastry then is traditionally filled with a coffee- or chocolate-flavoured pastry cream (crème pâtissière), custard or whipped cream, and topped with fondant icing of the same flavour as the filling. *sigh* Eclair seems to be aging faster then her mother.
She went to the vet a few weeks ago because she had a lump. We had it removed and she's doing very well now but as you can see from this picture she's silvering very much.

In addition to $25 worth of assorted cookies (sold by the pound), we picked up an eclair from Vaccaro's in Baltimore. This thing was huge and had significant heft to it. We decided to save it for breakfast.
I couldn't only eat about 1/3 of it, and Benson had a few bites. In the end we had to throw most of it away. :(

This recipe seems very simple from here.But then for each word you need another recipe and it comes out not being so simple! I tried once. Took half the afternoon but I was happy of the result. This book is the big book from the French chefs of the fifties. Huge book with all the known chefs of the time. Of course cooking has been evoluting since then, but you find all the basics here. I got it from my grand father. The edition is 1957, 1042 pages.
According to the "Dictionnaire de la langue française d'Émile Littré" (one of the greatest dictionary of French languages from the XIXth century) in 1864; the name comes from the fact that you can eat it very quickly, as fast as a lightening (in French éclair means lightening or flash, and in figurative it means something going on very quickly). Another possible explanation is about the bright topping, compared to the brightness of a lightening.
