The garage behind him was kind of scruffy so I tried to fill it in with a little paint but I didn't match it well, but I think he looks great. He's wearing his beloved Dale Earnhardt
hat! I need to trim his beard!! LOL!
TypeTogether was entrusted to develop QlikView Sans, a custom four-style typeface for the software company QlikTech International, which specialises in web-based applications for self-service data visualisation. The primary goals were to create a typeface that performs well on digital platforms in small pixel sizes, works naturally and effectively with large amounts of data, and unifies the look and feel of Qlik’s products internationally. TypeTogether added carefully chosen humanistic elements to grotesque letter structures to create an exclusive typeface that excels in function, clarity, and has an easygoing tone — QlikView Sans. TypeTogether makes tailored typefaces for organizations all over the world, so please get in touch if you’d like to discuss your organization’s needs for custom typefaces.
Playing to a crowd of not nearly enough at La Zona Rosa. Dan and I had a long talk (well, in my case, a long think) about what makes him such an engaging performer. he can bump around fifty-odd songs, sit down and tell a story about his childhood (SIT DOWN! ONSTAGE!), invite all the women onstage to dance, and just come off like the most easygoing, intelligent, powerful guy.
Shot a wedding yesterday. Tonya was a very relaxed, easygoing bride. Here she is in the hotel just an hour or two before the ceremony, looking at her palm pilot which contained a helpful entry for 6 pm on Saturday: "my wedding."
Jenny is just starting as a photographer and she was willing to pose for us today. Great personality and very easygoing. Sorry for the rain and cold wind!!

All I want and need is to move and all, be as easygoing world, I'm fed up of always having to look for others and not for myself, I'm tired of being the typical you have to give everything and then not receiving nothing, tired smile when only wanted to scream and send everything to take the ass. There comes a time that makes you want to be totally alone, a time when life itself nonsense you see all false, and no desire to keep trying anything, wanting to give up, always trying to trust and be good person then you get the stab in the back, when you can not even trust your shadow, it leaves you in the dark. Everything is ironic, nothing is clear, everything is distorted.
It's been six weeks or so since I used my DSLR.
This morning was the ripe time to dust it off and take some easygoing snaps at sunrise on Durban Beachfront.
No heavy processing like I'm used to and love - only my standard Lightroom preset.
Great to get out and play with the Nifty-Fifty (50 mm).
Over the past few years, I would visit Kayla when she came to Peaks during the summer. Kayla's remarkably friendly, lively, and easygoing - wonderful to talk to and hang out with. This summer was a little rushed - we ran into each other (with her brother) the day she was going to go back to Brunswick. But it's been great getting to know Kayla prior to then, and hopefully we'll get to visit each other soon!

American singer Bing Crosby (1903-1977) was a crooner whose signature song was 'White Christmas'. He often played 'happy-go-lucky fellas' in films which included the 'Road to...' comedies from 1940 to 1962, but he proved that he could act with The Country Girl (1954) opposite Grace Kelly. Crosby was a multi-media entertainer: a star on the radio, in the cinema and in chart-topping recordings. He had 38 no. 1 singles, which surpassed Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Bing Crosby was born Harry Lillis Crosby, Jr. in Tacoma, Washington, in 1903. He was the fourth of seven children of Catherine Helen "Kate" (Harrigan) and Harry Lowe Crosby, a brewery bookkeeper. Crosby studied law at Gonzaga University in Spokane but was more interested in playing the drums and singing with a local band. Bing and the band's piano player, Al Rinker, left Spokane for Los Angeles in 1925. In the early 1930s, Bing's brother Everett sent a record of Bing singing 'I Surrender, Dear' to the president of CBS. His live performances from New York were carried over the national radio network for 20 consecutive weeks in 1932. His radio success led Paramount Pictures to include him in the musical comedy The Big Broadcast (Frank Tuttle, 1932), a film featuring radio favourites. His songs about not needing a bundle of money to make life happy had the right message for the decade of the Great Depression. He was the star of such radio shows as 'Kraft Music Hall' (1935-1946), 'Philco Radio Time' (1946-1949), 'The Bing Crosby Chesterfield Show' (1949-1952), and 'The Bing Crosby Show' (1954-1956). His song 'White Christmas' became the bestselling single for more than 50 years until overtaken in 1997 by 'Candle in the Wind', Elton John's tribute to the late Princess Diana.
Bing Crosby's relaxed, low-key style carried over into the series of 'Road to...' comedies he made with pal Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour. The series consists of Road to Singapore (Victor Schertzinger, 1940), Road to Zanzibar (Victor Schertzinger, 1941), Road to Morocco (David Butler, 1942), Road to Utopia (Hal Walker, 1946), Road to Rio (Norman Z. McLeod, 1947), Road to Bali (Hal Walker, 1952), and The Road to Hong Kong (Norman Panama, 1962). He won the Best Actor Oscar for playing the easygoing priest Father Chuck O'Malley in Going My Way (Leo McCarey, 1944), and was nominated for his reprise of the role in The Bells of St. Mary's (1945) opposite Ingrid Bergman the next year, becoming the first of six actors to be nominated twice for playing the same character. He showed that he was indeed an actor as well as a performer when he played an alcoholic actor down on his luck opposite Grace Kelly in The Country Girl (George Seaton, 1954). Stagecoach (Gordon Douglas, 1966) with Ann-Margret, was his last major film. Though it did not get good reviews, his performance as the drunken doctor was praised. Playing golf was what he liked to do best. Bing Crosby died at age 74 playing golf at a course outside Madrid, Spain, after completing a tour of England that had included a sold-out engagement at the London Palladium. On 13 October 1977, the day before Crosby's death, independent producer Lew Grade announced that he was reuniting Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dorothy Lamour onscreen for the film Road to the Fountain of Youth, ending several years of speculation at to whether the trio would reunite professionally or not. Bing Crosby was married twice: first, he married film actress Dixie Lee. They had four children and divorced in 1952. He married his second wife, Kathryn Grant, in 1957. They had three children and remained together till his death in 1977. His eldest son Gary Crosby criticised Bing's violent ways as a father in the biography 'Going My Own Way' (1983) which was touted as a "Daddy Dearest". Bing's children from his second marriage, including daughter and actress Mary Crosby, praised him as a kind and loving father in later life. Phil Crosby, Jr., Bing's grandson, formed a jazz quartet in the Los Angeles area and is bringing a semi-resurgence of interest in Bing and his music.

Il Conventino
Tuscany, Italy
Il Conventino is an organic wine estate overseeing some 20 hectares. It was founded in 1988 with a total production of some 8,000 plus cases in production. Today the estate is owned and managed by winemaker, Dott. Paolo Vagaggini. Assisting him in export areas that we met in Singapore in April 2008 is Alberto Brini, whom was generous with his time and pours.
The estate product offering and bottling is summarized into the following: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano, Il Cambio IGT, Rosso del Conventino, Rosato del Conventino, Bianco del Conventino, Duca Vino Spumante Brut, and a Vinsanto del Conventino.
II Conventino looks to the East and South Asian market for an importer(s). Around 70% of its wines are exported with US and Europe taking the majority, while making their way to the North Asian markets of Korea and Japan.

2006 Il Conventino Rosso di Montepulciano
Tuscany, Italy
F25042008. 13.0%. 85% Sangivoese, and 15% permitted local grape varietal. The mainstay of this light-bodied wine was its red currant aromas and easygoing character for your daily appreciation. Slight acidity with a simple finish. Enjoyable now. Drink from 2008 to 2009.
2003 Il Conventino Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva
Tuscany, Italy
F25042008. 14.0%. The wine is made primarily from the Sangiovese grape with a total of 3 years in oak, with 6 months in bottle, before refining and release. I would have expected to taste alcohol and heat as evident in most Italians. Dense dark plums. Medium-bodied, a massively proportioned wine with rich red fruit aromas, tightly wound acidity with silky tannins, flanked by extracted fruit and a hint of wood. Enjoyable now. Drink between 2008 to 2010.

Welcome to the internet home of the Fernwood Road Cafe. This beautiful little spot on Salt Spring Island is the dreamchild of Jennifer and David Shaw. Transplants from North Vancouver (though Jennifer has a long family history with Salt Spring), Jennifer and David purchased the Fernwood Road Cafe on October 1, 2011 and have been living the Island dream since.
Coming from a background as a lawyer, a custom cake designer (yes, those are wildly different professions) and years of coffee education at Starbucks, Jennifer brings a history of business and a desire to give 110% to everything that she does. Whether it’s making your favorite non-fat, half-sweet, decaf, extra hot, wet vanilla cappuccino or serving up a slice of her Grandma’s Secret Recipe lemon cake, Jennifer strives to do her best.
His background in the travel industry (Evergreen Tours) and many years of working for Islanders’ favorite transportation company, gives David a unique perspective on Island life and the challenges of a community reliant on tourism and restricted transportation links. David’s easygoing manner hides his serious side, but there is nothing more serious that making sure that every patron at the cafe has an enjoyable experience.
At Fernwood Road Cafe, we are here for the long run. We strive to be a part of the community and are always looking for new ways to bring people together to talk, play and expand their horizons.
Journaling finding balance;
Last year has been very turbulent year. At first we heard that we were expecting. A joyful moment! Than we heard we expecting twins..That was joyful as well as the beginning of a big change in all our lives. The house we live in is not big in enough for 2 adults and 5 children, so we need to move. We’ve looked at a hundred houses, but none of them were good enough for our family so we decided to gamble…and subscribe to a yet to be build house. Luck was on our side because we got the house of our choice. Now all we need to do is wait until the house is finished at decorate. Like that is an easy task. The multiple pregnancy was not that easy. Pregnancy didn’t agree with me this time. The first trimester I was to sick and tired. The second trimester I had to work real hard and was home late. The third trimester, I was not able to do anything because I became ill. I got toxemia and because the complications of toxemia can be so severe they hospitalized me. I was out of my element. I lost my balance.
After the babies were born, I couldn’t walk; my pelvis is out of balance.
Because of that I have to ask people to help me take care of my children and my home and I’m not used to doing that..And I don’t like to admit I’m not capable of doing thing on my own..That really through me of balance.
Having twins also means a change in the way we can spend our money. Our balance-sheet is out of balance.
Being a mother of three also makes me question my line of work. Do I realy like doing it? Wouldn’t I be a nicer, more easygoing person if I just perused my dreams? Having 3 kids makes me question my right to be my own person, simply because there is little time left to be my own person. I’m a wife, I’m a mother, I’m a mistress, I’m a child, I’m a sister, I’m someone’s best friend too and I just to be all that! I’m all that, I just can’t seem to combine them all in the way that I used to. I lost my balance
So to answer the question; who do I want to be? I don’t want to be anyone else. I just like a new and improved me. I want to be healthy again; I want to be thin again. I need more time to spend with my children, a specially the oldest one. I need to spend more quality time with my husband. I need to be me again. Just little old me…but then completely balanced.
Inkjet Machines and Ecosolvent Machine System is so easygoing to realize. As though sublimation wide format inkjet printer is use for fabric printing while Solvent machine spacious initialize printer is use for outdoor promoting like billboards and banners.
Mitch and I met through Steve back when we did pictures the first time for Young. Since then, we've talked a bit on Facebook but that's pretty much as far as our friendship goes. Thankfully he's a super easygoing guy so this shoot wasn't awkward in the least.
CASSIE is a cute Corgi/Lab mix who’s 8-10 months old and full-grown at about 30lbs. Though she was a little shy when we first met her, she’s really blossomed in a short time and proved to be a very social, playful girl. She can be a little “bossy” with other dogs, and would likely be best placed with a playful, easygoing, young male canine companion :-)
Cassie will be a great addition to an active, committed family.
Cassie lives in Kennel 3.
