I'll be adding individual titles and details of what you are looking at (assuming you are bothering to look) as and when I get time. Although I'm not always sure what I'm looking at as, despite several visits to Skye over the years, this is the first time I've actually managed to see the view!

By far one of the harshest things I've ever experienced. I had to clear the photos because the smoke was so intense from the burning garbage. Thousands of people live in this dump and live off what they find.

This is illegal.

After a thorough job of butchering an animal, hunters should follow through by taking care of what remains. Plan ahead to butcher the carcass a day or so prior to trash pickup. Double-bag the carcass before placing it in the garbage can; doing so will reduce odors. And lastly, do not use a vacant lot as a dumping ground.

From the 1940s

Dump in Guatemala City. LIterally thousands of people live out of the dump, collecting cans and other items that can then be sold to make money.

This shot is actually from our local landfill in O'Neill, NE.

E. stopped along Highway 62 to take a picture of an interesting rock. I wandered into the woods on a little path. Hidden from the road but not too far from it, I found a dump site, which included a charred couch frame.

Dump Truck At Ackworth Quarry

The river trail passes through an old dump from the 1940s. There old cars slowly disintegrate under the forest canopy in a strange dreamlike time warp. This old De Soto still had some chrome left.
