Maintenance Bay droids for my BFF Y-Wing

---Adhoc evening keepin' busy project, to use my time productively(?), while impatiently waiting for final parts order for BFF Y-Wing (in background), so I can update/photograph and post...

...Soon I hope! :)

I took a picture by using '9490 Droids escape' and other custom pauldrons, rifles.

RT-97C heavy blaster rifle is my custom.

This has got to be one of the Separatist army's coolest ships! It had such little screen time in Revenge of the Sith that I actually didn't notice it the first few times I watched the movie. After getting the original 2005 set, the design grew on me, and I still love it to this day. Sand blue is one of my favourite Lego colours, so naturally this was really exciting to design and build. While I am not usually a fan of stickers on mocs, I thought they were necessary in this circumstance given the vehicle is covered in markings. However, you can leave the stickers out and it looks just as good, some may find it even looks better. For the three engine casings I decided to stick with the same parts as Lego had used in set 7252, as they are the perfect piece for the job, and capture the shaping really nicely. I'm really happy with the final outcome, and hope that you guys all like it to.

Cheers!

A Starfighter of the Dark Empire.

Finally finished the model..I think :P

This started out as part of a bigger scene, but as I had picked some droid body parts in a second hand haul I decided to put them to good use.

Except this one.....it sits menacingly in the corner never to be activated.

Almost unfinished due to the wobble stance factor, it so annoyed me I nearly dismantled it. How the design ever made it into mass production baffles me.

Anyway I've near had enough of it for now so lets call it finished.

Enjoy.

I wasn't really looking for any but then I found this pair. Turns out these were the droids...

One of the oldest serving medical droid, he's been functioning for the last 15 years. Right after Palæg Industries launched this model, every mobile army hospital was outfitted with a unit of them. This particular unit "Po", has managed to develop a very unique personality due to many years of use. His memory was somehow never erased and to the discomfort of many pacients, he has become a bitter and grumpy medical droid.

*edit: more pictures once the brickshelf gallery becomes active.. for some reason I can't hotlink. kthxby

Here's the B-shelf

My complete protocol droid collection , including (from left to right) :

U-3PO | TC-14 | C-3PO (chrome gold) | C-3PO (Red Arm) | K-3PO

This nameless bounty hunter travels wastelands hunting rogue droids. It's not the most glamorous job, but the warrant is always open...

A contender for the most irritating Star Wars character of all time, but a very cool droid design.

LEGO Minifigure-scale L3-37

This is my updated version of my Probe droid moc. Seeing as I am still working on my Hoth base and AT-AT, I thought it was time to revisit this build, modify some areas and finalize it.

The center hasn't changed much besides removing the center bar, allowing it to use a clear antenna piece to make it float. The head has gone through the most changes, with more accurate detailing and a better antenna using a screwdriver.

This is kinda like the extreme version of one of the connections I posted recently. It was built by stacking 2 of the dish peaces with fore droid bodies in each, and then the other fore bodies are held in tension between the two levels using the droid arms. And, though this is very illegal, it actually is pretty sturdy, and gives you 16 places you can clip on to on each level, for a total of 32 places you can clip things to over the entire thing. I might try to use thin for the inside of one of my pine trees in the future :D

Thanks for viewing :)

But i am not sure of the character's name ! Help !!!

Have you seen latest Rebels episode? Whad do you think about it?

The MSE-6 Repair droid, or "mouse droid" is a work horse of the imperial fleet. Their small size and maneuverability allows them into the most cramped spaces for repairs. Aside from a somewhat irrational fear of wookies, these droids are very dependable. In an unprecedented collaboration with Volkswagen, Rebaxan Columni released this special limited edition VW series. But when it was discovered that the droids had a tendency to start smoking and playing Grateful Dead music, the partnership was quickly dissolved.

I set myself the challenge of making a completely brick built tri-fighter. There are parts that exist that can be used to provide some extra details, but I like the challenge of replicating the effect in bricks.

I’ve always had a soft spot for this model- I was always quite impressed with the 2005 version that used the click hinges to create the semi-circular ‘wings’ which seemed quite unconventional back then. LEGO traditionally includes a buzz droid minifig with their version, so in that spirit, I asked MisterShramp if he could design a buzz droid to accompany my design. And he really stepped up to the challenge!

I originally thought about using bionicle shoulder armour parts to create the central sphere, but I settled on this design after experimenting with a number of other spherical parts.

The next challenge was to find suitable parts to recreate the semi-circular wings. I went through a number of different ideas- but many of the parts I could find didn’t have the right radius to match the original design. In the end I used bricks with studs on 4 sides with a rigid hose through the middle. The curved tiles help maintain the shape.

After tackling those two challenges, all the other details were pretty intuitive, and the build is surprisingly sturdy too.

The colour scheme also went through a few revisions. Each illustration/ concept art/ scale model I could find had some variation of blue and grey. In the end I went for this pretty subtle pattern. Any thing busier tended to draw attention to the (unavoidable) gaps in the construction of the semi-circles.

BB-2, R2-B8, and R2-Q2.

I made these to connect with the newest Droid Gunship. Enjoy :)

I found these big panel pieces and immediately thought they'd make a good basis for this ship. And it's about time my droid minifigs gor some reinforcements, right?

Droids in love.......With AI this might just happen some day. Scary thought eh? #flickrfridaydroids

So, I recently re-built my Tri-droid. It had been sitting, well, lying spreadeagled, in my wardrobe for... let's just say a while.

Anyways, you don't want to hear that. You want details! It stands around 30cm give or take and is probably about the same in width.

The legs are not entirely accurate, as they should be positioned like this: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/1/1a/Octuptar...

The long pole is just to keep it stable, as, surprisingly, it cannot stand unaided, which is very annoying but will be very difficult to correct.

An Imperial Probe Droid has been dispatched to defend the Conveyex - seen here near the base of one of the Conveyex support struts.

Is this the droid you're looking for?

This is a portrait of a Imperial Protocol Droid aka Death Star Droid from the Lego 10188 Death Star set. It's all black and it's very interesting object to photograph. All that black is… well, black! Probably needless to say, but I'll say it anyway... everything here is all in-camera.

So I'm finally there with my STAP, actually a lot sooner than I thought. Just got the new 1x4 smooth curved slope in reddish brown, which really makes it for this vehicle.
