I built this little guy after seeing the sonic the hedgehog movie. This robot wasn't from the movie, it just looks like something robotnik would make.

Sometimes sorting parts can be a source for new MOC ideas. So this this little droid emerged from a pile of parts this this morning.

I've been wanting to create a puppet for animation that is both really flexible and also not much bigger than a minifigure. After spending a lot of time on it and going through several prototypes, this is the result.

The droid as 22 different points it can move. This is over three times the number a minifigure has. It also is not very fragile, and its joints do not collapse under its own weight.

I'm hoping one day to make a brickfilm with this figure, as I could do a whole lot of interesting stuff that I could never do with a minifigure. However, I do not have any specific plans as of yet.

Need a bit of humor thrown in here today. For some reason, this drill just reminded of a droid from Star Wars. Not one of the star droids, just a bit player one in the background.

Hello, this is a small build of a dwarf spider droid of The Clone Wars. It was very fun to build, how do you create the legs, etc. But I’m happy with the result and I’ll use it for a MOC which is coming soon. If you like it please leave a fave or write at the comments below. Bye!

A little build inspired by Star Wars Battlefront's ID10 seeker droid using the iron forge seed parts as appendages.

Bunny droids that ended up too big for the appropriate scale.

Inspired by the crab droid in Star Wars.

But really just an excuse to use my limited collection of dk orange.

Anakin, Padme, R2-D2 and C-3PO have infiltrated the Separatist droid foundry on Geonosis and are ambushed by the Geonosians! Pull the pins to shut the door and drop the heroes onto the conveyor belt. Turn the wheel to move the conveyor belts and help them escape through the assembly line! Watch out for swinging robot arms, stomping presses, and chopping blades! Use the swiveling robot arm to assemble the droids. C-3PO has lost his head! Attach R2-D2's rocket boosters and turn the knob on the tower to have him fly to the rescue! Rearrange the assembly modules to create your own foundry layout.

Includes Anakin Skywalker, Padme, R2-D2, C-3PO, one Geonosian with stud shooter, and 4 battle droids.

I wasn't planning on building anything for May 4th but after seeing all the amazing art people where posting for Star Wars day, I could help myself.

This droid has been on my to-do list for quite some time. They appear in the video game Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order as enemy hired by the imperial inquisitor to hunt down Jedi Kal Kestis (it also appeared in The Force Awakens outside Maz Kanata's Castle).

They are originally used for loading cargo but these units have been reprogrammed and modified by the Haxion Brood crime syndicate for bounty hunting work.

Some people will say it's the ugliest SW droid, but I can not help but love it. Its square shape makes it look so solid and reliable that it will always be operational, much like old computers or game consoles.

I had already built minifig format

www.flickr.com/photos/8107354@N03/31101572573/in/album-72...

this one is much larger and not blue?! It was my first choice but the lack of blue/dark blue wedge plates made me choose the gray color.

Everyone knows that if we open one of this robot, we will find an actor, for my part I prefer to add an energy generator, as I saw on some photos found on the internet.

Last thing many of the various gonk photos you'll find really show an E on the side, it has nothing to do with my first name ... but it suits me. :)

Ever since watching the Clone Wars finale on May 4th I've been on a total Clone Wars MOC binge, and decided to build another one of my favorite vehicles from that era, the droid gunship. The official set versions of this have been pretty hit-or miss with me so I wanted to take a stab at building a slightly more proportional one (that head was not easy to put together!). Anyway, hope you guys all like it!

Hello everyone!

Here is the confederacy of independent systems droid army!

It has MTTs, AATs, dwarf spider droids, STAPs and a very oversized neimoidian shuttle I did a long time ago xD

Hope you like it! 😁

The 5-UN model construction droid is a rugged workhorse of a robot, and has been in service under the Suntron civilisation for well over 25 standard cycles. Strong, reliable and friendly, the 5-UN is easy to work with and always happy to help - even if it can't work out why you can't drink tea through a helmet.

My Instagram

A few months ago I wrote on the Brothers Brick about Tino Poutiainen's seriously cool Vulture Droid-esque MOC, which used the 3x11 Technic panels for wings. I thought that was really cool, and vowed to have a go at the in-universe fighter. (Hey, better late than never...)

In my view the panels give a better impression of how sleek this fighter is than the oft-used curved slopes. It does mean sacrificing some of the detail accuracy though, particularly at the wingtips and on the inside. So it depends what you prefer really. For me the overall look is definitely worth the trade-off.

A fun little experiment, and one that won't be coming apart any time soon.

The utility Droid in the KOTOR series of games.

My minifig scale Hailfire Droid. The wheels are still a WIP, though I should have the instructions ready soon! This is the color scheme of the droid seen in Attack of the Clones during the Battle of Geonosis.

After looking closer at reference pictures, I modified my previous attempt at the droid. As you can see, parts of the design have remained the same, but the slight improvements, I belief, make this model appear better.
