Main Street at Westport Road, Kansas City, Missouri. The Old Katz Drug Store sits empty awaiting it's Fate!
Similar concept to the Skyline, Tamiya offering extra bits (as well as a scooter, common on their kits at this time). The wheels are just covers on some nice multi-spoke chrome items (Linea perhaps?). It comes with more body accessories than the Skyline, with side skirts and bonnet strakes as well as front and rear spoilers.
Tamiya were always somewhat more conservative with their kits, whereas Fujimi and Aoshima go mad with accessories and reissue the same kits in many guises.
I think this was a lucky eBay purchase a few years ago.

It took at least twice as long to undo this hairstyle as it took to put it up. But it was worth it. This was at the end of the night and it was still going strong!
If you are wondering how to do it, it's really simple.
1. pull hair into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic band.
2. Separate a small section of hair from the rest of the ponytail and start twisting it.
3. Keep twisting it until it curls back on itself, and then use a bobby pin to secure it at the base of the ponytail.
4. Repeat until all the hair has been twisted
5. You may want to play around with the twists and use additional bobby pins to arrange them just the way you want, and you can add some fun accessories for a little bling!
6. After all is said and done, use some hairspray to make sure it all stays put, and you're ready to party!!!
What I wore for a Friday night on the town. Minimal approach (as always?) Sleeveless, body-con dress. Cashmere belted coat... which will be off once I get to the restaurant!

I can hardly believe it, it feels so odd to put a 1 in front of the 52. Earlier today i was writing the date and finishing it off with an 11 felt incredibly strange. But so we begin a new year. I'm still coming to terms with it.
But anyway let me more formally introduce Perry to those who are not familiar with the redhead. He's a four year old Italian Greyhound. He's my first dog, my heart dog, my favorite redhead in the world.
He's no stranger to the 52 weeks project. This will be his third year participating. Last year he wasn't in the group, but he has his own set.
Perry likes walks on the beach. He enjoys being hugged and squeezed. He loves to lay in the sun when it shines through the windows. And he absolutely hates cold, wind and any kind of precipitation. We impatiently await for the cold to withdraw.
And of course if anyone is having Marco withdrawal, his set will be on my photostream ;)
Dressed up snowmen at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
These wonderful and comical snowmen are along Winding Lane. Goes to show that our Canadian agricultural scientists do indeed have a great sense of humor!
This is a studio portrait of Judy's mother, taken a full century ago.
I'm adding it as the first post to a new group called "Retouching Old Photos." I'm hoping that people will download and retouch this themselves, then post the alteration back here. I'm curious to see what can be done with this photo.
Back from a week long family holiday to Turkey, it'll take me a little while to get those photos sorted so for now you'll have to make do with one from an early evening wander round Oxford. These Concert-goers were hanging around outside the Sheldonian Theatre waiting for one of the regular Summer Concerts to start and they caught my eye as I liked the warm back-lighting.
Luke and Abby got married in Fall 2010. I didn't post many of the photos to Flickr so here are a few more.
Please feel free to use this image in any collage or artwork you desire, but please comment with a link because I'd love to see it.
