Awakening dream...

l wake up in the morning of light walking through pathways of home through soft tender lush green patures where the apple tree shines brightly with the warmth of the golden sun. l look past the apple trees trembling in terror. l see a gigantic creature towering through the clouds grey. Like human form with arms and legs but grey leathery skin little round nose one large eye sinister glaring at me in anger through the dark corners. l scream running fast as l could home in the arms of my beloved . The creature glared at us we ran my books scattered on the ground bare feet no shoes we just ran hid under the floor boards of home in a cave under ground deeply rooted in darkness. The creature chased us as we rode away on a secret wagon then l wake up dreaming myself back in the morning of light....

I am thinking about humanity in art and the struggles many artists woman face in their art/ life. That ,pain we feel suffering real things that empower art the energy that moves resides deep within you that ignites it, We mustn't lose our essence, listen to your inner voice that helps you stay true and be free to express yourself as an artist creator an individual. This is precious!! It is important we stay true....
My heart goes out to the very brave, courageous Ukrainian people and all innocent people who are suffering through this war. l pray for peace and harmony soon to the Ukrainian people to the world. Stay strong !

Pretty sure this is part of the "Kindness Rocks Project." The idea is to paint a rock with a special message, and leave it for someone to find in a private place. I discovered this one sitting alone on a small piece of timber alongside the trail.

Rocky Mountain National Park - Reflection over Dream Lake in 'light' HDR. This was not at sunrise (clearly) because I watched the sunrise over Bear Lake and caught it there before I hiked onwards to Dream Lake. The Detroit Tigers need a big win tomorrow night over the Giants - so I think a photo of Dream Lake is appropriate.

Dream Homes - Well, mine anyway, just an awesome location to live, steeped in history. Watch the fishing boats going out in the morning, return in the evening. Walk to the local(s) for a pint (or 2) at the end of the street, fish & chip shop next door. Or head up the 199 steps for a run along the cliff tops for as long as you like, or just take the camera. What an awesome place.
I took this on my way back from my pre dawn jaunt down to the pier. I struck out on the pier that day, but I kinda like this shot from my way back.
Today was the first snow of the season. It was coming down quickly but softly, and blanketed the whole city with white. It was like a dream.
Sometimes dreaming is the best thing to do, but sometimes you just gotta go out and make them come true.

Obviously Balu was having a sweet dream. He is such a good boy and we all hope that he will be better some day. Currently he is very tired of the huge amount of drugs he has to take due to his epilepsy.
It's warming up, the sun is out, the snow is ever so slowly melting, but it still doesn't feel like Spring! So maybe this shot of pink Crab Apple blossoms could speed things up! Best viewed large!
It would be nice with a little glimpse of snow again now for the perfect mood, instead of all the rain this weekend.
But I hope I will get some Chrisimas mood anyway, while on a hotel weekend in cozy Stavanger together with a friend.
