Dreams La Romana beach in the Dominican Republic

This is an experiment on editing color. Today I am going to do a course on Elements, hope it will rub off as I feel I lag a lot of knowledge there.
I am one of these city girls who takes the car for every thing, so I can only dream of cycling, but this is also due to extreme workpressure.

Le Château de la Belle au bois dormant (en anglais Sleeping Beauty Castle) est le château de la Belle au bois dormant, qui constitue un élément emblématique des parcs Disneyland en Californie, Parc Disneyland près de Paris et Hong Kong Disneyland situé dans les zones Fantasyland.
L'aspect du château du Parc Disneyland, a été pensé différemment des autres châteaux. Quand le projet d’implanter le parc en Europe est lancé, le pari pour les imagineers est de concevoir un édifice qui se démarque des autres châteaux du vieux continent. Là où le château de Neuschwanstein en Bavière et les châteaux de la Loire ont suffi à inspirer les versions américaines, il fallait créer un vrai château de contes de fées plus fantaisiste.
L’imagineer Tony Baxter chargé de ce projet porte une attention toute particulière à de nombreux détails de cette version. Les influences du château du parc parisien sont multiples :
La forme globale par exemple est inspirée de l'Abbaye du Mont-Saint-Michel.
La coupole de vitrail est inspirée quant à elle du château de Chambord.
Les « colonnes arbres » sont quant à elles inspirées de l'Église Saint-Séverin à Paris (XVe siècle) et des tapisseries médiévales exposées au Musée de Cluny.
La petite tourelle rattachée à la plus haute tour rappelle celles du Château d'Ussé.
Les tuiles en losanges rendent hommage aux toits des Hospices de Beaune.
La fleur de lys au-dessus de l'arche d'entrée fait référence au symbole des rois de France.
Sur la plus haute des tours a été placé un vitrail illuminé, permettant de penser que le château est habité et faisant là aussi référence à l’histoire des châteaux de la Loire qui veut que lorsque le roi était présent dans un des châteaux, un vitrail était ainsi éclairé pour signaler sa présence.
La réalisation des vitraux est supervisée par Peter Chapman, qui a été auparavant chargé de la restauration des ceux de Notre Dame de Paris. À la retraite au moment du projet, il n’hésite pas à reprendre du service pour cette création.

Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (English: The Castle of The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood) is a structure that stands at the centre of Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris and is a continuation of Sleeping Beauty Castle first seen at Disneyland in California.
The Castle features two parts, a dungeon type area in the base featuring a Audio-Animatronic dragon, and above, a concrete balcony walkthrough area with Sleeping Beauty stained glass windows and tapestries. There are also several shops selling glass figures, ornaments and gifts.

Well, everyone has to pass through some tough times, it makes us wiser and stronger, it’s about getting experienced.
I was having some issues at work, I didn’t find there what I was expecting... that made me think all the time about what I have to do, thinking thinking thinking even at out-of-work times, until I had a continues headache for 2 weeks... sleeplessness and "eatlessness" !!! .... so, I found my way finally in the “No” word!!
Really it’s a magical word when it’s put in the right place, I decided to say “No” and do what I want and what I see it’s right, to refuse the wrong and mischief I see, and to do what satisfy my God and my conscience, and not caring about the consequences whatever it will be... I will fight because I can do more...
I began to find some advances... well, not that it’s getting better, but they began to listen to me a little and get used to the “Grouchy Smurf” in their building, LOL !!! :))
Hope things will get better.... for their good, hehehe :D
Just to finish this year peacefully, I’ll see what to do next, so... wish me luck... till next April!!!!.... yeah, it’s a long time !!! :\
That is one thing, beside.... I lost my dear fish Anuz last week after suffering with the cruel dropsy disease for about a month, she was so strong and fighting, drinking the medicine directly from my finger, poor cutie, she knew that my finger holds the food and medicine specially for her, how smart they can be !!... but at last she couldn’t stand it more, and that added more pain to me, I’m afraid that I’m the cause of her suffering, maybe I gave her too much medicine or maybe I should let her die at the beginning of it... I don’t know, I was suffering with her during the past month, but I’m a little relieved that she died peacefully and is released from her pain.... holding her body and burying her was so heartbreaking !!
Well, this is life.... a strange mix of happiness and sorrows... all treated by time...

Dream Homes - Well, mine anyway, just an awesome location to live, steeped in history. Watch the fishing boats going out in the morning, return in the evening. Walk to the local(s) for a pint (or 2) at the end of the street, fish & chip shop next door. Or head up the 199 steps for a run along the cliff tops for as long as you like, or just take the camera. What an awesome place.
I took this on my way back from my pre dawn jaunt down to the pier. I struck out on the pier that day, but I kinda like this shot from my way back.
