ODESSA: " I saw Cousin Paddington in my dream!"

ODESSA: " What??? Really??? In our kitchen? What he is doing there???"

Native American dream catchers were traditionally used as talismans. They aimed to protect sleepers, especially children, from bad dreams, nightmares, and evil spirits. Native Americans believed that at night the air was filled with dreams, both good and bad. They would hang the dream catcher over their beds where, as its name suggests, it attracts and then catches all kinds of dreams and thoughts in its web.

Beautiful dreams then pass through the threads and slide down the feathers to reach the sleeper and comfort him. Bad dreams, on the other hand, are trapped in the web and then destroyed, burned by the daylight.

The interpretation of dreams has strongly influenced the cultural and spiritual beliefs of Native Americans for centuries. They believed that dreams influenced the conscious soul of the dreamer. According to them, dreams could impact character traits such as trust, maturity, kindness, and loyalty.

Got my dream catcher earrings on. I thought I lost one a few weeks ago but it turned up in the bottom of my handbag. Yeah getting more girlie by the day.

Did you ever wonder why sunsets are the catalyst for so many of our dreams? Well, for one thing, they are a natural wonder of nature -- breathtaking to see. And, a sunset gives of fair warning of the close of one day and the beginning of a brand new day with all kinds of possibilities. A new frontier awaits us with the breaking of each new day and with that promise we can dream new dreams with renewed excitement! What are your dreams for today? Mine? I'm dreaming of walking the beach at sunrise and sunset on a tropical island soaking up the warm rays of sunshine and not feeling a care in the world. Ahhhh.........off to dreamland for just a few moments longer. :-) Be sure to take time for YOUR dreams today, too!

This image is a stitched panoramic consisting of 9 individual vertical orientated frames that were shot using a Canon 6D with a Canon 16-35mm ƒ/4 lens. I used a NiSi V5 Pro Polarizer to initially boost saturation and contrast within the scene as well as taking out unwanted glare and reflected light. The panoramic was stitched together and processed within Adobe Lightroom.

In order to provide the image with the vivid autumnal colours and dream like qualities that I had envisioned when shooting the scene, I applied additional processing using NiK Color Efex Pro.

This is not the scene that was before me when shooting but rather an extracted vision from my mind's eye.

Well, everyone has to pass through some tough times, it makes us wiser and stronger, it’s about getting experienced.

I was having some issues at work, I didn’t find there what I was expecting... that made me think all the time about what I have to do, thinking thinking thinking even at out-of-work times, until I had a continues headache for 2 weeks... sleeplessness and "eatlessness" !!! .... so, I found my way finally in the “No” word!!

Really it’s a magical word when it’s put in the right place, I decided to say “No” and do what I want and what I see it’s right, to refuse the wrong and mischief I see, and to do what satisfy my God and my conscience, and not caring about the consequences whatever it will be... I will fight because I can do more...

I began to find some advances... well, not that it’s getting better, but they began to listen to me a little and get used to the “Grouchy Smurf” in their building, LOL !!! :))

Hope things will get better.... for their good, hehehe :D

Just to finish this year peacefully, I’ll see what to do next, so... wish me luck... till next April!!!!.... yeah, it’s a long time !!! :\

That is one thing, beside.... I lost my dear fish Anuz last week after suffering with the cruel dropsy disease for about a month, she was so strong and fighting, drinking the medicine directly from my finger, poor cutie, she knew that my finger holds the food and medicine specially for her, how smart they can be !!... but at last she couldn’t stand it more, and that added more pain to me, I’m afraid that I’m the cause of her suffering, maybe I gave her too much medicine or maybe I should let her die at the beginning of it... I don’t know, I was suffering with her during the past month, but I’m a little relieved that she died peacefully and is released from her pain.... holding her body and burying her was so heartbreaking !!

Well, this is life.... a strange mix of happiness and sorrows... all treated by time...

ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet arrived at the International Space Station last Saturday with Soyuz spacecraft commander Oleg Novitsky and NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson. This picture is the first he posted on social media, with the comment: “The International Space Station is amazing: better than in my best dreams. I wish everybody could get the chance to come up here!”

The image was taken in the Space Station’s Cupola observatory, one of ESA’s contributions to the orbital outpost. Built in Italy, the module features seven windows that are quadruple-glazed and shutters that can be closed for protection.

Although Thomas is only at the start of his six-month Proxima mission, he has already helped Station commander Shane Kimborough to monitor the robotic arm unberthing the Cygnus supply vessel – the golden panels in the background of this picture are on that craft.

Cupola is used to monitor spacecraft arrivals and departures and to operate the 16 m-long arm. It also offers breathtaking views of our planet.
