I was at this little spot nearly 2 years ago with Gail, I'm surprised that I found it again. This time I was with Kathleen whom I'd meet back in a London meetup. I remembered we ate sweet buns for breakfast and we trekked under the hot sun... then there was one point where I slipped into the water.... aiya~!

Brilliant Dreams is based on the natural herbal extract galanthamine, from the bulb of the Red Spider Lily plant. The Red Spider Lily (Lycoris radiata) is native to China and Japan.
In the wild, this beautiful, medicinal herb is most likely to be found in clusters on the ridge of rice fields, in meadows, and along river banks. It blooms in the fall. Although the flowers are beautiful, it is the bulb that provides the dream enhancing natural extract galanthamine.
The red spider lily is sometimes called the hurricane lily or magic lily and has become a popular addition to gardens in the southern United States.

When I dream, from what I remember there are always changes to another place and a desire to find my way.
Just came back from an amazing visit to the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was my first visit to the park and I loved it.
After getting out of bed really early this morning and driving for an hour to get to the Bear Lake trailhead, there were already quite a few cars parked in the parking lot. At the end of 1.1 mile hike, I was surprised to find no other photographers at the Dream Lake. While it was too windy to get a good reflection shot, I'm very happy with the image I created on my first hike to the lake.
My dream is of a place and a time where America will once again be seen as the last best hope of earth.

Over a month ago I went out to LA to shoot some lifestyle of the students from the Dream Center in LA. The students that came out that day were super fun and was so easy to shoot. For this shot we found a colorful ally. We pulled the couch from a dumpster....Got to love kids willing to sit on dirty found couches for a photo & have to love the city of Angels.
Side note: Possibly will be heading to Nashville in a month...anyone from Nashville?

l wake up in the morning of light walking through pathways of home through soft tender lush green patures where the apple tree shines brightly with the warmth of the golden sun. l look past the apple trees trembling in terror. l see a gigantic creature towering through the clouds grey. Like human form with arms and legs but grey leathery skin little round nose one large eye sinister glaring at me in anger through the dark corners. l scream running fast as l could home in the arms of my beloved . The creature glared at us we ran my books scattered on the ground bare feet no shoes we just ran hid under the floor boards of home in a cave under ground deeply rooted in darkness. The creature chased us as we rode away on a secret wagon then l wake up dreaming myself back in the morning of light....

I am thinking about humanity in art and the struggles many artists woman face in their art/ life. That ,pain we feel suffering real things that empower art the energy that moves resides deep within you that ignites it, We mustn't lose our essence, listen to your inner voice that helps you stay true and be free to express yourself as an artist creator an individual. This is precious!! It is important we stay true....

This is the first shot of a small series of 3.
Here I was standing on a the terrace of a luxury hotel in Hong Kong island, looking at the stunning skyline of TST on Kowloon side. In the old times, citizens of Hong Kong used to call Kowloon "dark side" since all the main buildings and skyscrapers were built on the Hong Kong island while Kowloon remained agricultural land and fishing villages. At night, the building on the island side would light up and brightened the night sky while Kowloon was largely in the dark with less grand buildings.
Needless to say, these old times are gone and nowadays Kowloon is also full of skyscrapers and other landmarks.
