Here's my new color and I must admit that I totally LOVE it! I've always felt I look much better with darker hair but I've let others convince me I look better with light hair. No more of that! Dark it is.
I curled my dreadlocks with drinking straws!

My two-week old babies.
One of my floormates re-twisted them so they are much tighter now.

We finish each other's sentence
We talk without speaking
We look into each others eyes
We become blind
We do things because we care

You try on my shoes
You understand me
I understand you
We continue this dance
And we know it will last
For eternity

The dreadlings are five months old now. Things are shaping up. I think I can possibly see them as mature dreads one day.

This is how I wear them anymore. Plus, it was 85 degrees yesterday. This kept me cool all day, and I never had to mess with it again.
Numb bum, sore back and a headache, but I'm so happy with the results! Can't wait to see how they look when they're mature!
Despite not having touched it with a comb for a while now, my fringe still shows no real signs of knotting up. I've read that the hair around the face and nape of the neck can take a while, and so far I can only agree. I still have strands of wispy loose hair around my neckline that hasn't joined in the fun yet.
