Karma is the story
You put out fires
You start more
She stabbed you in the back
He talks to you in one tongue
Disguise your beliefs
Telling lies
The mirror was your friend
Wake up
Listen to yourself
Why
Keep on stepping back
And stepping forward
Stay away
Or you will certainly pay

I was at work one day and I thought I was having an especially nice "hair day". So I snapped a couple of photos. This one was my favorite.
Kudos to my daughter, Lauren, for picking out the scarf I used in my hair this day. We found it at Goodwill for a whopping $.69.
... Jamaica style ;)
They really try out different hairstyles these young horses in Mosfellsdalur - allways trying to impress in hope for an extra treat - I'm still sorry I didn't bring them anything - must make up for it another fine day !!!
Feel the stirring within
Another time to mend
Broken hearts fade away
Another chapter
Another life begins
Turning and spinning in my head
Dancing myself clean

Do you want to feel this way forever
Do you want joy and laughter together
You and I have this energy
I blends and harmonizes with every move
We create beautiful worlds
Lovely landscapes to frolick upon
We ran away in my dreams
And washed ashore with the sea
Just you and me
I see you looking at me
You hide and I will seek
You seek and I will hide
Count to ten
Let the games begin
I twisted my hair up in knots so that it'd be curly later. This is a nice hairstyle but I don't wear it out for fear certain people will take it upon themselves to touch it.
I had my locks cut off yesterday (31st October 2009). They were 3 feet long! They are now 1 foot long. Starting again....
I am really starting to notice a difference as far as how they feel. The ones up front ar really tightening up, the ones in back are really starting to but still a lot of loose ends... but it'll happen. I actually originally did them on October 5th... then Sara redid/tightened them on the 19th of October... so they are either 3 or 2 1/2 months old or something...
Tried using cotton dipped in watered down paint and twisting it into locks and gluing to the head. Once the water dried I noticed the cotton poofed up kinda like real hair so I dabbed my finger in some elmers glue and rolled it some more. Not a bad method I think if you don't have sculpty or green stuff.
Just a shot of my hair before dreads. Length and texture. Probably the closest picture to represent the length of my hair prior to dreading.

I named this Joshua Tree "Dreadlocks." I think it's so cool how every Joshua tree is different from the next.

This pic is from late August 2005. I put my hair up in a style called bantu knots. After I took them down a few days later, my locks were very curly. The curls lasted about a week.
