The glow of the sun
Makes me want to run
The light of the moon
Makes me want to howl
The beat of the drums
Makes me want to hum
I saw the light
It was way to bright

Why do we have to wait
Why do we have to find time
We can create time
We can manifest this happiness
Feeling it all
Dancing on clouds
Climb into the sun
Be you today
No one else will care
Why won't you dare
Be the love that you seek
Never thinking love is for the weak

Week 7 of my dread journey. Had them washed for the first time before getting them done this time. Felt great! Hairs looking a lot better and steady growing!
I think I had tried to dye my hair light brown at the top and Red @ the ends... I did not know your suppose to bleach it. Duh!
I took this photo in Amsterdam city, when I was walking down the street and my little sister stopped and said ‘‘Look that man, he has long dreadlocks, take a photo of him‘‘

I am so warm on the outside
But cold on the inside
I shine on the surface
But dry and wither within
Turning dark in the daytime
Turning light in the night
Kiss me in the park
Under the pale moonlight
You could shine if you wanted to
I cannot tell you what to do
My sunshine is so far away
Come back sunshine and play

As you may know my hair is VERY long, nearly long enough to sit on. I have been wanting to trim my locks to an even belly-button length but my husband asked me to not cut my hair. So I have been experimenting around with different ways to put my hair up as I am tired of my old bun style.
This is just my locks pulled back into a simple loose semi-bun. Knotted loop stopped hair from falling down but it looks very loose and casual. Hair wrap over loose hair in front. In this style hair fell to breast-length and was kept out of my way.
Is it blind
It is all in my mind
Seeing beyond what is rational
Or factual
If stop of if I go
The messages keep on coming
They know
We know
Spirits are all around
An orb here
Faint sounds
Past inside the present
Future traveling on the side
We think it and it appears
We become what we fear
Day and night
You can never escape
The truth behind the fascade
Pleasantries are created
Games are fascinated by the change
Vibrations slow down the negative
Calming and becoming my own
Avoiding the drones
It is easy to slip away without a disturbance
We walk on borrowed time
Instead let us abolish time
Within my third eye
I am not blind
I see everything
Every flower
Every leaf
Every vein
Every bump
Every twig
Every day
The information will never fade away
This pic is from late August 2005. I put my hair up in a style called bantu knots. After I took them down a few days later, my locks were very curly. The curls lasted about a week.
