A line drawing I did years ago. I scanned it and posted it here. The car itself is not a brand name vehicle. It is just combination of various cars I like put together.
Although, both galaxies easily fit in a one-degree eyepiece view, the dimmer of the pair, NGC 4608, was on the edge of invisibility. The brighter of the two galaxies, NGC 4596, was considerably easier to see and goes by the name of “Tiffany’s Epiphany”. I do not have a clue as to the story behind the name. Both galaxies failed to show any detail in my 155mm refractor under suburban skies.

WB Quest for Camelot 1998 Animation Cel Drawing
This is a sheet of original model drawings and an original production drawing from the 1998 Warner Bros. Feature Film, "Quest for Camelot". The slightly trimmed paper measures 11.5" X 13". The images are about 5" tall. The sheet has 3 peg holes and a WB property stamp as well as a clipped corner which is common for recent WB
A Balthus inspired drawing for the icon board. I am getting to work tonight on the collage.
Side borders are already glued on!
People draw inspiration from many sources, many of these seem distantly unrelated to the final instance of creation. Some personify these sources of creativity in the form of muses, originally mentioned in ancient Greek writings. Personally, I'd like to imagine my "muses" into 3 personas - which may or may not be linked to the Greek versions. I describe one of my muse as feisty, child-like... almost mischievous and a little unpredictable and wild... ideas are born out of storm - a mindstorm. Another one is motherly and nurturing because an idea has to be fed and taken care of until its complete fruition. And finally, the muse is honest and natural, baring and transparent... nothing contrived and truly reflective of the soul. But what's funny, it seems my muses speak more when I'm down recalling Stevie Smith's "Why does my Muse only speak when whe is unhappy? She does not, I only listen when I am unhappy." Which leads mo to think, how many of these pages were made during times when I'm happy or during times when I'm down?
It took a long time before I made another page in my Moleskine again. And what better topic than to talk about my muse/muses. It take a certain level of motivation to work on art, but once I get inspired the process is easy. And in one way or another, I lost my muse, thus the hiatus.

I did this life drawing at Fabrica on White Night, Brighton. Haven't done anything like this for ages, about 6 years. Really enjoyed it. The charcol was attached to the end of a piece of bamboo about 3 feet long. Never tried drawing in that way before, surprisingly easy… Well, I'll let you be the judge of whether I made easy work of it.
(I'd had two pints or lager with babybenji, which is why I've gone over the edges a bit – I'm such a light weight)
By Leslie, of the guy at the table next to us, who was talking loudly of how popular he was in high school. Um, yeah. An axe through the head for you, sucker!
Arrived early (shock) for an appointment today and sketched this old church now converted to offices. Bluestone and sandstone - some of the sandstone has crumbled away. Might add some colour now that I'm home.
This is one of my favorites for my Christmas Card design, I like it because it's a bit different.
I'm posting this on Thursday night because I'll be up and out early tomorrow and I know I won't have time. Tonight I'm going to go to bed early. Even though I've been lacking enough sleep lately I've felt sort of revved up and wired, kind of hyper. It's been that way for quite a while and I have no idea why. Anyway I felt like that this morning, like I was really wound up from the minute I woke. I went to my work out and worked out really hard, got my mom and we went to lunch and then Costco but as we were finishing up in Costco I crashed and got really tired and that's how I have been the rest of the day. I'm pretty sure I'll sleep good tonight and I am looking forward to it. I don't know what's up with me but I want to get back to an even keel if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I've finished tonight's drawing and I'm going night night.
