This was probably pretty late, maybe even college, when I was trying to get back into drawing spaceships. With computers, though, the desire to draw by hand diminished in favor of learning how to use paint programs. The shape here is vaguely like that of Battlestar Galactica, without the side wings. I was too narrowly focused on large ship superstructures and streamlined shapes. Of course, in space none of that matters. Especially in SF.

Some friends and I had a play day where we challenged ourselves to draw freely.
I used a combination of tracing paper and gesso coated calico and came up with some very interesting images
These faces were drawn on to tracing paper using pen and ink.
The images were then left to dry and further ink and paint was added to the reverse
I then cut out the tracing paper images and attached them to a fragment of an old book page
