When the storm rolled into Venice, the scene was quite dramatic. Fortunately, the rain only lasted a few hours and we were able to enjoy a gondola ride in the evening.

An old shot that I have never posted before. Pretty much straight out of camera, it captures the amazing peach colours that one sees in Dubai sunsets.

.....a sunrise which didn't disappoint. Lighting the sky in vibrant shades as clouds rolled by and then reflected on the sea and wet sand. A moment to stand in awe before it gently slipped away.

A vast, dark storm cloud looms over a vibrant, green landscape, creating a dramatic contrast between the sky and the land. The sunlight highlights the edge of the cloud, enhancing the sense of severe weather.

After all the recent rain and storms these local fields are the worst i have ever seen then , gates and fences literally washed away , paths covered in debris but glad to see the puddles are plenty full. :-).

First, wear something stunning. Second, wait until all the other guests have gone inside. Finally, make your dramatic entrance!

This Blythe doll is Daunting Drusilla wearing Stella Serendipitous’ stock outfit for the theme “Lady in red” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The door is from Byer’s Choice. I’ve had this same door in green for quite a while and I love it, so when I saw this red one at the antique mall for half the price, I couldn’t pass it up!

when you can't actually get a normal, decent shot :')

According to the weatherforecast, the sun was supposed to show itself after heavy rainstorms during the evening... Worth a try to catch some dramatic skies. I do not consider waiting for the blue hour during Norwegian summer a problem... but when you are being attacked by armies of mosquitoes and midges (that seemed to be cooperating to irritate me as much as possible) it's a different story...!! I forgot my insect repellent... Luckily the light was on my side at least...

dramatic irony. irony that is inherent in speeches or a situation of a drama and is understood by the audience but not grasped by the characters in the play.

A dramatic plexiglass shield, creeping up from under the snow. Supposedly, it's an artwork made by Carsten Höller.

"Dramatic Ending:" A sunset from last month culminated in a very windy isolated storm blowing through the area as seen in this view of the Granite Dells and Granite Mountain.

Quite an exciting shot, if I do say so myself.

Lots of photoshop processing for this shot

A candid street photo of a young couple in love. They embrace each other over the dramatic cloudy sky on the autumn season. The expression of the girl's face says the moment is dramatic for her, or maybe for both of them. I believe, the minimalistic scene is rather cinematic. May the happiness be with them forever and ever. Black and white version.

This was THE pano that I was most excited to see when I got the drone shots on the Mac as the sky was so dramatic and I thought that the sweep I did would give a really nice comp. I was right (or I hope I am) on both counts but once I started pixel peeping I could see a lot of degradation from the slow shutter speed and ISO I was having to use due to the fading light and relatively high winds. I have edited and re-edited this pano and now I just have to put it out there and see if it is loved for what it is, instead of being disliked for not being technically good.

I wait your comments, good and bad....
