If Freya were an alt rock singer, this would be the cover of her solo album after her band's messy breakup.

What do you do when you butt is freezing and your mind is numb in the sub-zero temperature???? Do you run for cover or you shoot in the fading light????
With Ladakh you make that extra effort and she rewards you with the above. Note the azure blue skies above ! (taken in the ladakh range close to the pangong lake - at close to 150sq.km - one of the largest lakes at that altitude)
I just got back from a quick photo/work trip to Southern Utah. The first couple of days were sunny and relatively warm and then some weather started to move in. This sunset was one of the craziest I've seen with these dramatic clouds moving in and lighting up right as the sun went down.
Sidenote - things are not business as usual for me. I make my living working on public lands in Utah. As a photographer and marketer, I essentially sell Utah and the US to the world's outdoor community. The current federal government and state government are tearing everything apart. I literally don't know what to do. This is all unsustainable.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement over the past year.
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and health and happiness for the New Year :)
This cloud formation was just spectacular, on an otherwise dreary Sunday. Taken just South of Anchorage, Alaska on the Turnagain Arm.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon meeting up with fellow Flickr friends and shooting the iconic mines at Botallack.
Captured as the mines catch the end of day light. I extended shutter time to gain some movement in the clouds. Apologies for any hot pixels left behind...
Thanks very much for viewing :)
A serene mountain lake reflects the lush greenery and rugged peaks under a dramatic, cloud-filled sky. The calm water mirrors the surrounding trees and towering cliffs, creating a tranquil yet moody atmosphere. Delicate reeds emerge from the surface, adding depth to the peaceful scene. A perfect moment of untouched nature, where the beauty of the wilderness meets the stillness of the water.
