Best wishes on your Epic Odyssey!
Homer: Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who traveled far and wide after he had sacked the famous town of Troy. Many cities did he visit, and many were the nations with whose manners and customs he was acquainted; moreover he suffered much by sea while trying to save his own life and bring his men safely home. . . --Homer's Odyssey, Book I

ASSIGNMENT
Dramatic Lighting
DESCRIPTION
I tried to "split" the face with the light, making high contrast for a dramatic result.
I used sb600 with reflective umbrella left from camera at 1/16
D700
Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 200
The original picture was boring, so I played a bit with it. This should be my last pic of the photo walk. Sorry if I posted too many.
The day we went to C the Sidney Opera House was a cloudy day - I manage to get this shot that I really like
We would like to present hand painted oil on canvas painting (recreation) of Afremov's artwork mentioned in the title. This art piece made by Leonid Afremov Studio with the same amount of soul and emotion just like the first original painting. The piece is created with oil paint on artistic canvas using Afremov's unique technique of a palette knife.
