Glencoe is a dramatic U-shaped volcanic and glacial valley and village in the West Highlands of Scotland, famous for its soaring peaks, deep history, and outdoor recreation.
Carved by glaciers and an ancient supervolcano, the 12.5 km glen is flanked by the Three Sisters (Beinn Fhada, Gearr Aonach, and Aonach Dubh), Bidean nam Bian, and the Aonach Eagach ridge.
Massacre of Glencoe (1692): On February 13, 1692, 38 members of Clan MacDonald were killed by government forces after failing to promptly pledge allegiance to the new monarchs, William and Mary

A landscape picture of the stunning fairy pools. I would have loved to smooth the water out but sadly i broke my expensive lee filter that day :(
After watching a sunrise in RMNP, I headed back down the trail and found this weather over Longs Peak.
Well... once again I felt like messing around in my Lightroom again last night before I fell asleep... and this is what I came up with. This day was a very dramatic one at a local Golf club. The sky was something else and I took some of the best shots to date over there. Don't worry folks I will be uploading more from this scene later on in original format w/o major effects.... lol I will be pretty busy this morning with meetings but I may be able to visit Flickrland at some point today. I not so sure yet....
Dramatic golden sunrise today at 6.44am, my first winter sunrise
Looks like the sky is on fire with those heavy dark clouds!
It only lasted a few mins and turn into a beautiful sunny day in Sydney.
Have a Happy Saturday!
Keep smiling... :)
Our first sunset on Mallorca, and the most beautiful in this year. Enjoyed in Puerto Portals. Even the tourist hell Magaluf (near Palma de Mallorca) appears in this light like the paradise:).

I tend to shoot at Dutch angles much of the time anyway. Some people hate a crooked horizon, but I've always thought they give a composition some dynamism. I was shooting a spool of thread atop this jewelry box, and got the bright idea that the keyhole on the box itself might make an interesting subject.
