We've started our long holiday from visiting Switzerland this year. One week here before heading to the north. Weather is not our friend here, as it was only sunny and warm on the day we've arrived, and every next one is just full with clouds and rain here and there. It doesn't stop us from exploring. This day we went to Montreux, paying visit to local Chateau de Chillon and walking to the monument of Freddie Mercury. On our way there, clouds did cover part of Chablais Alps, made it so dramatic! I would rather explore mountains with clear view on the tops, but weather here just makes decision for you.

Just outside my front yard, simply amazing!

Thunderstorm on the Blatic Sea

Another early morning walk before 6am watching the wonderful sky and enjoying the peaceful streets.

I know is burned, but I let that light on purpose

Okay not a puffy marshmallowee one today, is that a word? Anyway more to follow! Today I went with more of a muted cloud and more emphasize on the light and corn stock.

Dramatic skies over Bennachie back in November 2014. There is a tiny amount of foreground detail if you click the plus over the photo or hit 'L'.

Same photo as previous with no border just a subtle edge! Which do you prefer?

Galiano Island , Close to Vancouver city.(BC , CANADA)

Near the location called retreat cove it's easy to see wonderful sunsets , each time with different shades..

Over the sea it's possible to see Vancouver Island's mountains.

Very dramatic lighting this evening in rural north central Illinois.
