This was the first dock dogs competition I had the honour of seeing...had fun taking photos.
Challenged with getting these dogs in focus...especially since my camera has a VERY slow focus time. Found my best results with manual focus, and pre 'guessing' how far away I thought the dogs might be...lol.

The Princes Dock, Liverpool. Taken on a still evening at the end of November. To the left of centre can be seen the Royal Liver Building.
Taken at the docks in Ipswich, these pigeons were hanging around one old boat, in between the seagulls and the cormorants.
Took at Seaforth Docks, Liverpool at Maritime depot. The sun was setting very quickly, so just grabed my camera and shot with a 18-105mm that was already attatched. Did not have time to set up a tripod or any filters, I don`t think they are too bad!!!!!

Aren't dock-leaves wonderful? -Healing when you sting yourself, and beautiful diversity of red and pink flowers make a lovely dry-flower display!
