Learning how to better use the curves adjustment in PS. It helped me get the colors the way I remembered when I was taking this shot. Yes, the sky really was that beautifully blue!
I was down on the docks to photogragh the shrimp fleet tied up to the docks, and i turned around to take a some pic's of the two Carnival Cruise ships tied up to the docks.I could not believe my luck when I saw the Elissa comming out of her birth.I always wanted to get some pic's of her on the water.

Portsmouth Historic Dock:- Part of Portsmouth Harbour and within the Royal Navy dockyard. I have been wanting to come here for years. My biggest want when visiting was to see HMS Victory. Well I did and cracked my head several times, but every smack was worth it. What a fantastic ship. But there was also The Warrior, Dock Cruise, Mary Rose exhibition. Sadly the Mary Roase cannot be viewed as they are building a new lottery funded building around her. There was of course the Royal Navy museum both past and present. It was a grand day out.

That day there were more boats docked in Hobart than I'd seen in a
long time, not including the Sydney to Hobart race of course.
Took these at Glacier National Park last year and never put then to use. Glad I still had them. All taken with the D70.
